Yeah, I know ‪@ThrottleHouse‬ just reviewed this car (and did it better, if I'm being honest), but did they review it while being 6'6" and American? No, no they didn't, so here's a large American's review of the Lexus LC500, a car that deserves SO MUCH more credit than it gets for being absolutely amazing. Hope you enjoy the review. How’s the ride? Is it bumpy and harsh? Any creaks and rattle noises?

@@Gemini530 I'm sure a long term owner's perspective will be more valuable, but I can say that in the week I had it the car rode incredibly well in normal mode (even Sport isn't harsh, and I personally don't mind Sport+), and the structure feels absolutely rock solid. The interior quality is impeccable.

Alexander A as a GT car, it certainly rides smoother than the Carrera 4S I owned before. The structure is rock solid without a single rattle or shake.

Great review, honest for sure. And very entertaining on how you describe your experience with the 500. Your FAS review convinced me to look closer at this beast. So, I did at a Lexus dealer. Wo, vids and pictures don't do it justice. Seriously... Up close its breathtaking. Timeless, Art Nouveau curves that go on and on. The fit and trim is simply perfection. Then that nat asperated V8 sound on start up, and cranked was beyond spiritual, no joke. I traded in my Z Nismo which was in my blood, and I never thought I'd breakup with her.. lol New girl friend now and I'm never looking back... thanks again!

Just taken delivery of my LC500 Sport + in Tori red and absolutely love it, before buying I looked at the Porsche 911, Beamer 8 series and Merc S coupes but the weren’t individual enough for me. Here in the UK there are are only 428 examples in the UK at the time of writing so get plenty of looks and loads of questions when I park up. Great review

Other cars may have faster 0-60 times or greater handling. Some vehicles are roomier with more up to date tech and better creature comforts. Only the Lexus LC500 offers this level of refinement, comfort, performance, and RELIABILITY!!!!. Vehicles from Germany, Britain, or Italy are sexy but incredibly unreliable and stupidly expensive even for regular maintenance. This Lexus is definitely greater than the sum of its parts.

Loved the review astonishing job. The Lexus LC 500 is directed towards a more mature audience someone who appreciates art and pays close attention to details the ambiance the ultimate luxury sweet spot in between conservative and goddy. I've been a believer in the Lexus vision since I was a kid it all started with the Lexus SC400 which I believe the LC 500 is in modern day Reincarnation of. My dream is to own one of these. The best luxury GT Coupe for under 200K. The joy of owning a luxury V8 just unparalleled experience that there are few alternatives out there( V10, V12). Great review! Had one for over a year. Head tuner with great sounding naturally aspirated V8. I had all to chrome deleted and is stealth mode looking. Not the fastest car but for the legal road limits, it' enough.

It has seriously unique and stunning looks, and is a very rare car on the road. I financed it, and plan on keeping it and enjoying it for many many years. In a short time, we won’t be able to walk into a dealership and buy a car like this with an engine like this. This type of car, and definitely this type of engine, will be obsolete, in the next few years.

Great review, I agree somewhat with the infotainment system, its not really that bad, but understand you don't really have the car long enough to explore everything in great detail, you have a option of bringing up a menu on the right hand side of the map, climate controls, radio station etc, i leave the climate controls there, this means it only one click to easily put on heated/cooled seats, and the heated steering wheel, alternatively just use the concierge system and you don't need to touch anything, it does it all automatically for you.

That's a great point! I generally think the idea behind Toyota/Lexus and Acura's infotainment systems is good, but the tactile interface needs to get closer to iPhone levels; however, this LC seemed to have a slightly better trackpad calibration than the last few Lexus vehicles I've driven (or maybe I'm just getting more used to it, as you said). Don’t we feel just a little bit sorry for the guys who bought German, Italian and British supercars thinking their world would be ideal? They failed to understand that five minutes of going fast isn’t worth three weeks at the dealership. The nice thing is we all get to choose. For those of us driving the LC 500, we’ve got the best of all worlds and especially the part about reliability. Simple routine maintenance is all it takes for years of trouble, free driving. In fact, I don’t even think the LC 500 has such a thing as limp mode or a Pyro fuse. These cars just seem to run forever trouble free.

The manual paddles are not "metal" (or plastic as I saw in other videos......), they're actually magnesium. Just wanted to let people know..... Had this car (a 2020 w/perf) for 6 months now. It is all what you say... GT, not sport, amazing in every aspect and, most importantly for me, completely different from anything else. You can compare a BMW 850 to an S-Class coupe and put the LC in the same category if you will, but it's really not. I don't think it compares to anything else on the market. Had my doubts at the beginning, but after 6 months I am now completely sure of that statement. Thanks JAX for the great review!

I have the LC500 in that color. Great review!!! Once you set the Climate Concierge to your favorite temperature you don't need to go through that touchpad. I agree it's not as intuitive as the system in a Stinger or Genesis.

It's 100 percent worth it. Tested the RCF two months ago, and don't get me wrong: it's got a lot going for it. But this feels SO much more special. I could see that, especially in the LC where the coupe layout doesn't cater well to a touch screen. Kind of a lose/lose situation on that one.

I love this Lexus. I just have to say though, my Jaguar's 5L exhaust sounds better. The Lexus has the better interior though, hands down.

Thanks! I think there are plenty of more sporty cars to be had in that price range; however, I think the LC is unique in its combination of luxury and style. Can't go wrong with a used 911 if you're prioritizing sportiness 😉👍🏻

I wish these car reviewers spent part of the video driving in regular traffic among average cars, WHY? So that viewers could get an idea of the size and contours of the car compared to ordinary cars we see on the road every day. Everyone keeps doing the same thing. I drive the 500h Sport+. Love the V8 sound but in my part of the wold gas is very expensive so the hybrid makes sense.

I own one from 2017 it is a beautiful car have some issues.The exhaust look it is not very good looking the infortaiment system it is very bad and it is quait heavy car and not enough power.The good points are a lot:general look is still very futurist with good proportion nice song of the engine and extremly good quality of all material.It is time now to work a little on it to look much better.

Go you! :) I drove one of these last week and to me it was so powerful that the difference between 4.4 seconds to 3.4 seconds would not have even been noticeable to me. Less than 3.4 would have been, but I can’t say that’s a level of acceleration I’d ever need.
