Love the self explanatory video we as truckers know the basics of storage this truck has a good amount of storage but wasn’t expecting the slide out fridge all of the electrical outlets and USB are definitely a plus with me I would most definitely choose this over the cascadia as a go to truck only thing not sure on how reliable the engine is compared to the DD12

A lot of people misconstrue the whole Volvo and Mack relationship. Yes Volvo is now the parent company of Mack. However Mack's use an MP series engine which is their own. Volvo uses a Deutz engine. Which is THEIR own. Mack uses its own transmission and its own electronics and interior design as well as its own hood (facia and headlight design). The ONLY think Mack uses of Volvo is their suspension system that Volvo perfected. That would be like saying that a Jaguar is just a glorified Ford. No. Ford owned Jaguar but they are their own entity. An entirely different beast altogether.

I don't know where you got your information from but the engine and transmission are the same, Mack just uses a different programming to make it perform slightly different, and you can get more suspension options with a Mack including the original Mack suspension and rear ends, and obviously you can get the same suspension Volvo has. You are correct about the other components

@@Travel-life-pets TATA bought Jaguar and land rover from ford in 2008. Jaguar did use ford parts in the cars and basically labeled a ford a Jaguar X and used a plethera of ford engines and other parts when owned by ford.

I drive one. Drives smooth. A little puny on hills. The controls are nice once you get used to them. The engine braking is noticeably less aggressive than the Freightliner I was in before. You give up sleeper width fand cab room or the Mack look. The only real complaints I have so far is the door latches don't always work right and the front privacy curtain hangers are a cheap joke. Expect to break several hangers in the first year if you actually use them.

For me I have a kenworth t680 2019 when you go uphill my truck absolutely struggles like for me 35miles an hour wtf especially when people are honking at you and saying go faster like this shit can’t even go 40 uphill that’s what I hate about my t680 absolutely struggles when going up hill

I have driven quite a few miles in both the Anthem and Pinnacle. I really wish Mack would do a full width, full height sleeper with a cab wide enough for a big boy seat with two armrests. The chassis is good. It just needs more interior room. The upside is 7.6 mpg crossing the Appalachian mountains 2x every day. That's not too shabby!

So, I’ve been told that Mack still has 13spd transmissions and 600 horsepower engines. I suppose you would have to order this because I never see one being revealed on KZbin. Also, I don’t believe I’ve seen a manual transmission in a Mack or Volvo in a long time. I would love to know the different settings on the engines that Mack offers and know the different Manual transmission’s. Please advise me on this. Looking to help my company out with some new amenities to the company for longevity success. Thanks.

Make sure to close the bunk windows before rolling out . They will rip right off in the wind . Nice truck , but cheaply made . I've had one for about 34k miles and I like it . Just be careful with the window buttons and as I mentioned the bunk windows. I've had both replaced already.
