Awd is useable for changeable weather conditions on tarmac roads and race tracks and 4wd is useable for muddy,rocky surfaces and obstacles i.e. off roading. 4wd is temporary and can be disengaged and awd is permanent operated by clutch. Awd comes in saloons and sporty suvs such as audi quattro, bmw xdrive in 5,7,6series and merc with 4matic in e,c,gl series. 4wd comes in offroad suvs such as jeep,land cruiser,4runner,tacoma,defender.

Hya...24" 4K OLED infotainment unit chahiye aur Bose ka 5.1 Dolby Atmos like Kia sonet have. Also you may propose a HEPA filter air purifier in an off-roader. Kia sonet ke USP hain yeh sab...koi engine transmission suspension ke bare mein bhi to baat karlo kia mein.

I have joined 3 fb groups also in recent times but in all the groups I have seen people highlighting issues like # gear got stuck, # car not starting if used just after 3 days, # crack in door near nut and welding. # steering jam mainly in reversing. # fit and finish of plastic. # paint quality # low response from tech screen # lag in low rpm in petrol # silencer breaking down Is ecosport a good option. Or any mini suv u suggest with in the budget of 10-12 lk max

@@suneeeelkumar it wasn't meant to be a family car. Even the original Thar wasn't. They would have killed the personality of the vehicle with 4 doors. For family, they already offer tons of options - xuv 500, 300 etc. This one maintains the original characteristics of the Thar, but it's more urban now and little suitable for daily use compared to its predecessor.

Jimny Sierra is pretty underpowered, when compared to this Thar. Even in terms of overall looks, Jimny simply doesn't compete. This is a masterpiece created by Mahindra. Also even if Jimny arrives as Gypsy replacement in India, it will not have the bells and whistles of the Japanese and European version. You forget that Maruti don't care about driver oriented or enthusiasts cars. SCross 1.6 was the best crossover, but they stopped it's production.
