Absolutely wonderful job :) I will suggest idk if you you know this or not but most of the time the company had an automotive extension to their website which will show you a diagram of the car and all the speaker locations. Hope that helps, keep up the good work!

Some of them do, some of them don't. JBL/Toyota do a great job with that, but others just leave you in the dark. At the end of the day, speaker placement really doesn't matter if they're balanced well. But thanks!

I might be a bit late, but unlike the C, E, S Class or CLS the Burmester Surround Sound System comes with 14 speakers not 13. That's because of the extra subwoofer in the trunk which the others don't have. (640w unlike 590) I have an E Coupe and I feel like the sub might just do the extra difference. Sound focus is set for the front seats and it sounds decent tbh, just the low frequencies lacking for an overall well rounded experience. I always leave the surround sound on and enhance the mids a bit, without that it sounds so plain and narrow.

Think Burmester is one of the best sound systems in cars, with Bowers and Wilkins and Mark levinson, from your videos anyway!! Audis B&O don't seem that great from what I've heard, do like the Dynaudio in UK/European VW Passat, although they've changed to HK, do US vw do Dynaudio? Great video though!!

I found the vocals to be horrifically lacking in the AMG GT 4-Door because there are no tweeters upfront!

After having base burmeister I really recommend you don't buy without the high end 3d sound system. The base burmeister is very disappointing if you're a music lover

The thing is you cant put the high end 3d sound system along with panoramic sun roof...so if you want the full panoramic glass roof you cant put the 3d system

@@hamadsalem1881 The high end 3d features woofers in the lower part of the door. That's the easiest way to tell. Also there are speakers in the roof, but not for the S Class convertible. Also an additional sub in the boot comes with most 3d versions extra. Also on most speakers there is a "high end" printing on the burmester logo. There are way more settings in the menu to play with.

Do you think it'd be better to do narrow angle for the sound-system tests? I bounce back and forth sometimes. It's more realistic, but then you don't get to see as much of the cabin.

I heard the standard B system in that car is garbage. I know someone who has this exact car and he said it is not good. Which would is shocking for car that price. But is it true

@@c190gtc you have different car then one mentioned in video. So while you could say your experience, you can’t really compare the two. And if you have to change all the settings to make a system sound good that’s not a good system to begin with in my opinion. I test drove an S class Mercedes with the standard burmester sound system in 2015 when the new model was just released, and it was garbage. Again it shocked me for a car that was $95,000. Same seems to be the case for standard set up in GT 63S. Now the more expensive upgraded Burmester systems in Mercedes are unbelievable. Forget if there like a $3,000+ option. No matter what kind of music is sounds like it’s happening live around you.

I got a Toyota Crown grs204 with 5.1 surround 18 speakers stock from factory with fujitsu ten 19ch amplifier. I think it’s similar to the Lexus LS models. Best factory sounding car I ever heard and for the price it’s worth it!

more speakers doesn’t mean better. i have a toyota alphard with a 17 speaker JBL system and it is complete shit. plus this is the base system, there is an optional 23 speaker system.
