Grace and Jordan were a mess throughout the entire Olympic competition in 2021. Grace’s form regressed and she was very inconsistent. Jordan’s nerves got the better of her in qualifications and on her floor routine in team finals. She was dancing around and not really trying to focus. The Americans could’ve won the gold here even with the three remaining members (Chiles, Lee, and McCallum), but Grace and Jordan’s floor routines ruined their chances. Grace also whacked her feet on the low bar on her Chow 1/2 on bars, which was probably around a 0.5 deduction as well. She also landed out of bounds incurring a 0.3 deduction. These deductions add up quickly and can be the difference between gold and silver!

It was sad to see Vanessa Ferrari and her team come in fourth place. The good thing is that they had their revenge in Paris with a silver, but I would have liked to see her compete with the reigning silver medalists.

There's nothing wrong saying this or accepting Rebecca,suni and Simone were at the same level in Tokyo but listunova was better had she not made mistakes in qualifications her teams score would have beat suni in the AA. The Russians were much more prepared and ready for the code of points

@@davedavey-y8eyall think Simone was at her best. When she was off that whole year, especially during trials. She had twisties and everything, she was not at her best. Russia was lucky that she was not at her best.
