So, if I lived on the Welsh coast or Aberdeen for arguments sake,and I needed a service and there were no Raleigh dealers in the vicinity I lived,how would I get a service??,would I have to take it back hundreds of miles to the stockist i ordered it from……,just asking.

Hi, I have a Modus Grand Tour with a 500 watt battery. On a usual ride out I can cover approximately 25 miles and only use 1 bar on the charge range . Hope this help however I do not use the lights I have a separate strobe light on the rear. Hope you enjoy the bike , I do .. Regards

I do over 100 miles on regular basis with the 300w battery. It's all about what you want out of it. 90% my motor is OFF due to me primarily riding flat countryside and canal towpaths. Surprisingly it is easy to ride without the motor as any other medium to heavy bike.

Raleigh electric bikes are single use bikes. Their battery cannot be replaced and the company advice is to buy a new one if the battery dies.

That’s simply not true. This video is about Raleigh Motus bikes which are equipped with Bosch motors and batteries. Should an owner require a battery it can be replaced through any Bosch authorised cycle shop.

'It's too slow' 🤣🤣 Depends on the rider for heavens sake. You can replace the standard Motus 14t-28t cassette with a 12t-32t like myself. Whatever you do you lose power assist at 15.5mph so it's then down to the rider. I'm 76 years old and weigh 18 stone and even I can cruise at 25 mph and thats with full panniers. If you think it's slow put more effort it. That goes for every LEGAL pedelec style ebike.
