The swift 1.0 booster jet is the closest to swift sport. Not the Attitude as it is a standard swift with sporty cosmetics. I test drove the 1.6 sport and 1.0 booster jet. Preferred the boosterjet.

Super review of a nice little car. My only issue with Suzukis is that they're a wee bit tinny and noisy. I drove a Swift last year and also an Ignis, which I also liked, but they do feel slightly insubstantial. But they are very efficient and nice to drive. I would have one thought, but I'd just stick to the normal swift - I do like that 1 litre engine. I also think the Swift looks very nice, even in its standard guise.

Love the review, thanks. This car looks good, especially at the current 'VAT free' price of £12,285 (1 Jan 20 to 31 Mar 20). Would look better without the tacky 'Attitude' badge - can it be peeled off?

What about motorways. How does it handle? What about speed feel?(I mean does it feel like flying with 150km/h or it’s comfortable) Noise doesn’t bother me that much!

I was stuck between polo 1.0 tsi and swift 1.0 boosterjet. My partners, sister bought the polo 1.0 TSI and to be honnest seats feel cheap, firm ride, noisy gutless engine that dosnt like being revved and already she got a knocking noise coming from under the engine. And if VW still use that cheap metal and paint that they used from 2004 like on golf and passat then it will be a rustwagon in 10 years.

Isn't the real reason for its existence that the proper Sport is in an unaffordable high insurance group?

I was looking to buy a 2020 version and after looking was so disapointed they've changed the shape so looks like I'll be buying a low K version with the old shape.

The Swift is a car that lacks something. Engine, handling, fine. But you don't sit comfortably. Everything is somehow not 100% ideally adjustable to the individual. The suspension is too firm. You can feel every bump. Shallow potholes are a nightmare. The front bumper is too far forward and you can scratch it very easily if you are on a slight incline. The windshield is very reflective and so are the silver rings in the speedometer display. In the sunshine you hardly see anything. Because it reflects so strongly. The instrument cluster is inclined too horizontally, so that when you sit higher you have no optimal view. The consumption is 51 mpg (urban and motorway combined). Gear shifting is easy and parking is a real pleasure. However, the car is almost overloaded with five adults.

" Shallow potholes are a nightmare " : it's true, suspensions are not very comfortable on bad roads. -I've got some back pains, and finally bought the 15" rims version... much better for comfort than the 16". ... but less efficient for fast driving on twisty-roads ( big rollin' in fast curves...but it's not a sport car )
