2020 Top 10 PDR Glue Test Part 2

Data charted on a graph for 4 different wait times to pull.
LBS Force required to pull the glue tab off in cool and warm temps.
Drip test to see which of these glue drip most.
Ease of peeling big glue spot off the panel with 91% alcohol.
Glue gun temperatures to show all about the same consistency.
Correction: At the end for the glue removal test, Tabweld and Glue Traxx labels are reversed.

Thanks, I tried to be consistent with the most variables as I could be. No cross contamination, all same glue tabs, show temperature is consistent between each of the glue guns and so on

Pity you didnt include Ansons extreme purple plain jane glue. I find that it has such a strong pull to the etxent that it has pulled the tops off my glue tabs. It is a bit temperature sensitive, but a heat gun on occasions does the trick

I think it was a contender but didn't make the top 10 of voting. I made a poll on two dent groups on FB and these were the top. Out of thousands of members, there were only about 150 votes total

Here is the link from my order email. It is my go to glue and works to be about .60 per stick and works wonderful, adjust your time for pulling according to what temp your in, basically when you can fingerprint the glue without it sticking. glu-stix-online.com

220° is to hot for the tab weld glue. 160° is optimal. Can you make a pull test with diffrent temps with die tab weld glue?

You can use the GPR Star 300 Watt. It is cheap and you can adjust the temperature.
