It is not, getting out of traffic lights up to 60 or 70 km/h is very responsive, better than most petrol cars. Of course, it is not a high performance car which will need 2 or 3 times more fuel in the process. Anyway, in Sydney's traffic you can't go over 60 km/h because is the legal limit in most of the city and it is full of speed cameras ;)

Please keep in mind that this 50% increase in range they falsely advertise, does not mean that regenerative braking will give an 50% range increase! This isn’t going to bump your range from 100 miles to 150 miles. This simply means that 50% of the kinetic energy lost during the act of braking can be turned back into acceleration later. It is important to realize that on its own, regenerative braking isn’t a magical range booster for Hybrid vehicles. It doesn’t make Hybrid vehicles more efficient per set, it just makes them less inefficient. Realistically, Regen in Hybrid will boost up to 5% increase in range only in rural areas and Not in motorways. In highways regen gives you No boost in range at all! Too expensive too!!
@rubennunez10754 жыл бұрын
First thing first, I have serious doubts about the results of this test, the official number is around 11 seconds, which is not fast but better than the results of the test. Having said that, this car is perfect for city traffic if you are going to drive at legal speeds, and that is 60 km/h in Australia. Because of its electric motors, it is quite responsive at low speed and out of traffic lights, better than most of real world petrol cards. At freeway speeds, is not the same history but, again, at legal speed, nothing dangerous or different to real life cars, and using at least half of the fuel of any similar size petrol car.
@snchez21063 жыл бұрын
this car is super slow at both high and low speeds, what the fuck are you talking about? Its acceleration numbers are below any average petrol car, even the old Honda Civic I had would smoke this pos without any effort.
@HughesyTech2 жыл бұрын
Lmao my 2L Cerato does 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. So how the hell out of traffic lights is it better than most petrol cars. The CH-R looks great and might be fuel efficient but it is a slow piece of shit. Other manufacturers doing better jobs.

Geez that is some slow acceleration, toyota should put the 2.0 turbo 4 cylinder engine from the supra in it an put a small battery in it too for in town that charges when you brake or lift off the accelerator, that would be a more fun and safer car. That slow acceleration would be dangerous when overtaking lorrys or joining motorways. 🤔
