2020 WRX Amsoil Transmission & Differential Fluid Change

Just doing some early maintenance before the heat comes in so changing the tranny and diff oil.

AYEYO! I was watching and looking for one thing, to see if I should keep watching (makin sure my bois legit 😬), and in 5:20 in I got what I was looking for…he pulled the fill BEFORE the drain. It only takes making that mistake one time before you never do it again. He knows 😎👍

It is big dawg, not to bad of a task and I plan to do mine every 15k. That pump I used made it really easy to do the transmission side too.

Yes sir! It makes things a lot easier, but the only thing difficult about them is moving them around into position without moving the car cause they are super heavy😅. I’m going to have to come with a better system for maneuvering them around lol.

Lube Tech MoJo.. You go for the best oil.. I can only imagine what the Dealer charges in labor to do this.? and they mark up the subaru oil..

Same car great video. With there being a drain and fill in the rear and only a drain plug for the front why did u purchase 4 gaskets? What size was the bit for the front diff

Well it is always a good idea to swap them out and the torx bit is a T70.

I have the slx-7000. It is long enough for the wrx, plus I wanted something to be asks to lift my truck as well.

What do you do when you do see shavings of unwanted materials?

Unfortunately if I were to see that, I would have big problems and would be thinking about where my next rear diff or transmission will be coming from…. If there was some material it would really depend on how many miles is on the car, how big and how much I would find. If not to much, then hopefully after changing out the oil I would be monitoring how the car feels while driving and shifting and listening to how the drivetrain sounds at different speeds to see if there is truly a problem. Hope this info helps.
