I have a 2016 Acura TLX V6 FWD and I can regularly get 33 or 34 mpg out on the highway. The temperature greatly affects my mpgs. When it's cold, the fuel economy is significantly worse. My car seems to love 60 to 80 degree temperature. The fuel economy skyrockets at those temps. I have gotten as high as 42 mpg cruising about 62 mph for almost 50 miles. I was stunned.

Have a 15 V6 AWD and noticed something similar...how long do you have to drive at those temperature before you hit your expected MPGs on the highway?

I just took mine on a 1,500-mile drive and I got 31 mpg according to the read-out on the car and given the distance between fill-ups I think this is pretty accurate.

Currently have a 2020 accord, I’m averaging 35-36 mpg. Considering switching over to this ACURA TLX, 29 mpg is not bad at all. Thanks for making this video

I have a 21 TLX. Gas mileage is not what i hoped for, but not terrible. We average about 25 to 28 mpg.😮 Our old accord was still getting 34 mpg with over 100k miles.

i’ve been using regular gas on mines, should be using premium to get better gas mileage ?! 😮 dealership said i can do regular on it

I wonder if that number will inch up a bit as the car is more broken in? It looked like you have roughly 2,500 miles on it - so maybe there is some room to improve a tad bit. I would expect trips in the Summer (Summer gas) to sneak over 30 if one stays off the turbo while cruising.

I get approx 19mpg, premium fuel, but it’s all city driving. 2021 Acura tlx tech package awd.

Acura need z 2.4 turbo. The 2 litre turbo has to be rev which burns too much fuel. My cx 5 gets 32 or 33 on highway with the 2.5 turbo with 6 sp auto transmission

what is "3-click filling"?

Nozzle all the way inserted, high flow until it clicks, wait 10 seconds, low flow until it clicks, wait another 10 seconds, then low flow until it clicks.

pressing the break too hard maybe? or a lot of city driving?

17 mpg isn't that bad. I have 15-16 mpg city with brand new TLX.

29 mpg is not really that good. I have a 2014 V6 Accord that gets at least 32 mpg with just a 6 speed auto.

16? Wow. I am around 24 on my A-Spec SH-AWD. $30-40 USD a week, I use Costco 93 octane in Texas and work from home. I burn through a quarter tank in no time at all.
