I test drove it, and to me it doesn't really have any value. You get less for less. It's far slower than an M340i, C43, S4 etc. Doesn't handle as well as those cars and somehow has less interior space despite being massive on the outside. Also a lot of the features it has aren't as well thought out (clumsy infotainment, ambient lighting only for front, ridiculous rear brace blocking pass-through with no obvious handling benefit) or completely absent (360 camera, HUD, heated rear seats). If I had to shop at this price point I'd just get a 330i M Sport or Giulia Ti.

Nah Q50 can be had for similar or less money and while offering performance that is only really beat by the M340i, it's due for a redesign in a year or so and we can see what that TTV6 can actually do but the TLX Type S fails to impress in any real way.... IMO.
@mohammedawadud72383 жыл бұрын
@@BigHeadClan the q50 😂 is that even a luxury sedan anymore, i don't thing they will redesign it especially since there focused on suv so it will probably be discontinued. To be honest the ltx is still miles better than q50, then the bmw m340i rules the segment with audi s3 and Mercedes c43 right on its tail. TLX and q50 are the weakest competiters. If you want real deal on a true performance car then the Cadillac ct5 v is it or a used audi s3.

I completely agree with the infotainment being a mess, and I completely agree with it being a excellent daily, but no track car, and no I wouldn't compare it to 340/s4 etc as Acura would like us to believe. They marketed it as something it wasn't, but if you look at the car by itself, it is a great car. Yes, what were they thinking with the gauge cluster in 2021, and no HUD?!?!? Give us something. Sadly I think early adopters of this car will be shafted as I see a quick refresh coming with the missing features, and hopefully at least 25- 40 more HP.

I love my 2019 Genesis G70. I also love the exterior of this vehicle, and I'm not really an Acura fan. Even though my G70 is faster than this vehicle, 0-60 speeds are not as important as the way the vehicle drives. Case in point, the Hyundai Veloster n, that vehicle was made to hit corners. Not fast in a straight line, but around corners. How many times are you going to put the pedal to the metal on public roads? You will hit a lot of corners. Hey enjoy the ride in a beautiful car!

Wait, did he just describe a 13.5 sq ft trunk generous? Rewind...yup...well, that's certainly a GENEROUS description of a trunk from a mid-sized car!

Cadillac, g70 both in the 11 range or less. BMW in high 15. So it's a betweener. Little odd given the cars sheer size, but not awful. Spare tire kit optional.

@@GoofieNewfie Fair point. But after I learned that the compact Kia Forte has 15+ cu ft, it just kind of makes me mad that car companies don't try a little harder to give consumers more cargo capacity in vehicles that have 4 doors. I'll never ding a two-door vehicle for cargo room, but if we're buying something with 4, this means we've got people and things to move around the world. Mostly though, I'm jealous that I can't make one of these 4 door sport sedans work for my family, because I like sporty, but I have a family...and things to carry.

@@layne4376 I love mine in the snow. Summer, my brother’s BMW handles great, but snow on the ground, SHAWD is unreal. Truth is I haven’t driven many more performance AWD. Just a few Subarus, BMWs, a Benz I hated and the rest were SUVs or crossovers. So my guess is you’re right. I find Acura very well built, mine has lasted VERY well, so I think if I was looking, I’d look at the TLX. But if you’re a serious enthusiast then probably not! Thanks for the heads up dude! I learned something today! Cheers!
