The Chevy Blazer EV enters the spotlight. However, the Toyota bZ4X shines as a reliable, efficient, and environmentally friendly choice for electric SUV enthusiasts.

Looks great IMO. EV, no thx. IDC how 'fast' they are. AND there is NO cool factor in fake engine sounds. Next they will put on a reverse alarm ala construction equipment....

Apparently, Honda didn't think their flagship off-road model needed any ground clearance?? I just bought an Outback Wilderness and its crazy to think that the people that buy these are going to have to immediately install a 2in lift just to barely have more clearance than my outback does from the factory. Also, maybe it's just me but the rear end of these new passports look so uninspiring and too much like a bronco sport.

I knew as soon as you ragged on the black interior of the odyssey that you didn't have kids. That crean/navy of the carnival is hideous and is going to look filthy instantly. I also don't care at all about lane keep assist, adaptive cruise, or surround cameras. Quiet, good gas mileage and spacious otherwise I'd get an suv. Although those recliners in the sienna do look amazing

While I appreciate the video, it feels a bit outdated. It focuses on the early issues with the Blazer EV, but doesn't address the current situation after the stop-sale and updates. It's been roughly 8 months since then, and I think viewers would be more interested in a long-term review. I've owned my Blazer EV LT since late April (8 months) and have a different perspective. While there are still some minor bugs, the overall experience has improved significantly. However, GM's slow progress on updating the Android system to support apps like KZbin and Netflix while parked is disappointing. This is a crucial feature that many EV owners expect, and its absence is a major drawback.

For refrence I work in data analytics (Director/VP level) and I've been consuming automotive journalism for 30 years. Its appauling how badly the automotive media conducts testing. Even consumer reports is horrific. There's nothing structured or scientific about these types of comparisons which reduces the usefulness of the content. If you're interested Edmonds, you can find me online. Im happy to provide consulting. P.S. you've already implemented one of my recommendations years ago and now people can filter their search results by "AWD" on your website. You're welcome.

I find these videos hilarious! Talking about the car as being slow.....FFS how fast do you want? New HP electric cars (even fairly cheap ones) can smoke most old school V8's or V12's for on paper performance. Actually, they can smoke most IC engined cars period. However it misses the whole point. There is something about a large NA V8 or V12 that puts a smile on your face. Sometime's its just nice to drive a big/heavy V8 or V12 ....ultimate performance isn't really the point.

I've recently test driven all 3. Camry (SE) - Drives beautifully (tops) but loud and if you're looking for the classic comfy Sedan this ain't it. So much (black) plastic; like black plastic tomb. Loud. Hated their infotainment console. Accord(Touring) - Powertrain is wonderful and much quieter but I felt every little bump. It would be interesting to see how much normal tires would mitigate that. Killed it for me. Probably would have bought this if not for that. I don;t know what they were thinking to go quiet but feel every bump. Sonata(Limited) - Drive is not as nice but reasonable sound levels, nice ride, awesome tech.

The Z06 is a spectacular mid-engine sports car but this race was frankly a joke. Of course the Mercedes was bound to lose as it is 700 lbs heavier and has 100 hp less. You can argue that for 60,000$ more it should be better but it actually is in terms of what it's built for, it's a big, comfortable, luxurious GT car, it's not built for race track or drag strip although it can be abused to work there with some obvious restrictions. Use it for a nice 1-week road trip with your SO plus a lot of baggage instead and you will see it's very much up to the task, in ideal case with some unrestricted autobahn or twisted mountain passes on the way. A Ferrari front-engine GT is also slower than its lighter, smaller mid-engine sports car siblings on a track, they are simply built for different tasks although both can be reasonably fast for any usage.

I have to laugh about the requirement of noise generating. I walk my dog 3 to 4 miles daily on a quiet winding lakeside road where the speed limit is 25 but most people are considerate and slow way down as they go by and wave. Easily below 20 mph. I know a guy who has a 2016 model 3 that lives and drives by me often. No noise generation. I can hear that car and those tires rolling on the pavement, even slow speeds, a mile away. What I have a hard time hearing is a Corolla or Versa. Even some small ICE SUVs. The engine sound is so muffled that they are almost silent as they approach and go by. Their tires are also much, much quieter. I have a neighbor that has a 2014 Nissan Leaf. Yes it is still running. He says the range really sucks now though. It’s quieter than the Tesla but is absolutely no quieter as it’s approaching than the previous cars I mentioned. I’m convinced that the idea that they make any less noise than many ICE vehicles at that speed is some sort of marketing ploy. At that speed even with ICE vehicles most of what you’re hearing is tire noise.
