2021 Audi RS5 Sportback: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive and Review

This will probably be my default favorite of the big 3 Germans in this segment with the ways the M3 and C63 are headed! Not to mention this seems like the best daily driver of those 3. Love that Audi still keeps hard buttons here for things like A/C and doesn’t go almost-all touchscreen everything like the 6/7/8 series cars.

I would have to say this is my favorite as well! Audi and BMW would be my picks of the three! Both sporty and have performance!

This Audi RS 5 is my favourite Audi vehicle of all time, and most of it has to do with the looks of this car, and also because I feel it's the perfect size for most people. Yes it still isn't as roomy, as like maybe an S8, or RS Q8, or maybe even the S Q7, but it still is practical enough with that cool sportback design. And let me tell you, that sportback design looks awesome. It's a sedan acting like a hatchback :) Also that 2.9L V6 just is a masterpiece. The 3.0L V6 in the S5 is great, but this slightly smaller V6 in the RS 5 is even better, and that startup noise from the V6 is perfection :)

Very nice car. I own a beautiful 2014 A6 in white. 3.0 Supercharged. Awesome car, but the tech is a bit dated. However, one of my favorite things about my A6 is the display screen retracts into the dash with the push of a button. I LOVE that. All these big screens make me feel like I am staring at my phone or iPad all the time. It is so nice to put the screen away and just drive. I wish Audi would go back to that feature. My neighbor just bought a 2018 A5 sport back. What a sweet ride!

I can see that being a cool feature to have used in the later Audi models for sure! Some of them just look like they were stuck to the top of the dash, so being able to hide them would be cool!

I hate how Audi doesn’t give you the flat bottom with the heated steering wheel. I have the flat bottom in my RS5 coupe. Not only is it flat bottom but the overall diameter is smaller and the airbag cover is round and smaller too. Looks way better.

I really enjoyed the CD player on the X5 F15. My dad has a G05 X5 with a quad turbo diesel, and I was sad that feature was taken.

The new A3 doesn’t have a CD player. And yeah, the third generation A3 was the first one to have one, same with the 3rd generation X5.

Honestly I don’t tho l these would be competitor cars. I’d prefer the M3 for my 4 door sports car. Seems more at home for track and mounting driving. But if I wanted something more comfortable and roomy. I’d go with the RS5

This Audi RS5 didn't have heads up display! If it did there would have been an adjustment for it on the left side of the steering wheel I believe.

Glad you liked the video! Both are great cars for sure! But definitely not the same category. The M3 is a true sportscars that has practical aspects. The RS5 Sportback is a practical car with sportscar aspects. I'd buy the M3 because it has more performance. But if I was older and just wanted a good luxury car that was crazy fun, RS5 would be a great pick!
