This is what I like most about Steve. He just uploads at random. Nothing weekly, or monthly. Sometimes I wonder what happened when he's away for a while. But the most important of all, is he does every video with calmness, clearness, no cuss/swearing, no asking for subscribers or to like his videos, etc... He just does a review, gives an honest opinion, and let's his audience decide whether to like, comment or subscribe. Unlike many KZbinrs who think they have to ask, beg, plead, in each video. Sometimes 2, 3, or more times. It gets old.

@@KhunarkI do the same. I play at 1.25. Sounds pretty much the same but you save some time
@SirTorcharite Жыл бұрын
Omfg same! I've gotta watch everything on at least 1.25x speed cause mfkrs talk slow to draw out their video time. I'm trying to straight CONSUME some damn information when I'm watching. Even some Steve videos I've gotta skip through lil bits occasionally. Idk how people can stand to watch videos at regular speed anymore. I've found myself wishing I could turn up most people's speech rates irl too. Makes me feel nuts how slow a lot of people speak.

Steve! Have you thought about testing/reviewing popular "prepper" foods like 4patriots/ReadyHour/ReadyWise etc.. always curious if they taste good or if they're "MRE" quality lol
@Ole_CornPop Жыл бұрын
They are to much like Jim Bakkers whole prepper deal and everyone knows to stay as far away from that as humanly possible. 😂

I think the problem is you have to buy those in bulk so it'd be a huge waste of food. Most of them are the same as (possibly even from the same OEM) single meal camping rations though and there are youtube channels that review those.
@KyleOfTheNorth10 ай бұрын
I've tried a bunch of these as my folks bought a few containers of the 4patriots stuff. The meals are much like what you'd find in the camping section, and aside from the main dishes, it's mostly dried fruits and nuts in my experience. I haven't eaten a modern MRE but I'd bet they're tastier than most of the prepper stuff.

Awesome to see mate, I'm watching while waiting for a flight to far western New South Wales, Australia. Awesome to see this! Yes I'm slightly inebriated but, hey, I'm Australian and I guess that's kinda expected.

The pilots are probably drunk too, so no biggie. How else are they supposed to fly upside-down?
Here is another sign of Steve as a gentleman. When that biscuit broke off I would have stuck my fingers right the tea to get it but Steve shows the proper way to scoop it out with a spoon.

They’re designed for troops going out on day or night patrols - you’d make your hot drink at the FOB in your flask and have the hot meal using the heater We are issued cookers and fuel separately for with normal 24hr rations

"we don’t get them in the navy" - you say that like it's a bad thing. You guys get great food, I was Army stationed on a Navy base for a year and the galley was top-tier all the time, even midrats. Then had go back to the Army where you're lucky if they even bother warming up what they serve you.
