20k miles fuel filter? No. Gotta do it at min every oil change so typically 5k miles. Fuel is one of if not the most important thing about a diesel. Gotta keep the fuel clean as possible. Or else could cost thousands of dollars

I just picked up a 2022 Custom Duramax in the color Greenstone Metallic. Mine did not have the convenience package but it does have power driver seat and the flex-tail gate.

Hey bud awesome video. I just got my 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Custom,6.6 gas and absolutely love it. Mine has 7 way power drivers seat only and I couldn't find the sweet spot position. I purchased a truck seat cushion,kind of like memory foam. Now I can say it's mine. I paid $48,600 out here in New England. My additions include: tonneau cover, nerf bar running boards, Weather Tech floor mats,bug shield,rubber mat bed protector,I added red letters into the Chevrolet on the tailgate,90 degree grease fittings for ease of lubes job and finally I had the windows tinted. I'm not sure what else I want to ad but I may be thinking the steering wheel now that I see what you did. Will be following you. Thanks Btw,this 2022 replaced my 2004 Silverado 2500HD 6.0 that I purchased new. She spun a bearing at 438,000.

Glad to hear! I’m looking into a Silverado HD :) I was about to do the custom trim until I found out the wheel doesn’t telescope. I’m a taller guy and have to sit farther away from the dash and it wouldn’t work I don’t think :( (my legs are kinda longer than my arms… little bit of a trex effect haha).

Did you test drive one? The 20 HD cab dimensions are larger than the 2019HDs.

I have a 22 custom duramax on order, will be 6 months in March. I am planning on doing many of the same upgrades, already have the steps, black badges, and a leather steering wheel ready. 22 year has a power drivers seat option that I am happy about. I was curious how the stock trailrunners tires are holding up. I have heard stories of fast wear, only 20k miles, and side wall bulges. Nice truck and great videos. Thanks

No problems so far with the tires. The dealer rotated them at 5,600 miles and wear is even. I hope they last awhile, we will see!

Hey mate just curious if your truck had a ticking noise when you first got it. I've just picked my truck up in Australia and it has a reasonably loud ticking noise coming from under the car? Cheers

Yes mine had that as well, I wasn’t too concerned with it and I figured it was normal.

I’m not exactly against what you’ve done to your truck, but if you had bought an LT or had a custom with better options you wouldn’t have been modifying the things you needed for your truck, but I understand the availability issues

@@Myksgarage You got me, I don’t really know what an “Optioned Out” Custom is, I looked into ordering a Custom, but just jumped to an LT, had a better convenience package I thought.

@@Myksgarage I might have been better off ordering a Custom, I have been waiting two months just for my ‘22 2500 Duramax to be delivered, I ordered a pretty plain LT, just a convenience package and a 2 speed transfer case, wanted a power seat and auto 4wd lol
