I bought the Big Bend 1.5 liter Bronco Sport. So far I am not disappointed with the power or performance of this motor. I am also averaging 29.5 mpg which definitely helps my wallet. I have already put over 3000 miles on my little Bronco and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. It's roomy, stylish, loaded with features and turns a lot of heads. I traded my 2018 Ford Escape Sport edition for this little Bronco and haven't looked back. I wanted the big Bronco but this was much more in my price range. I guess time will tell if I made a wise choice but so far I am very happy.

Well done guys! Thanks for another entertaining review. Well done Ford! I think they’ve nailed it. The larger Bronco looks great, but this new Sport represents their bread and butter. These are for anyone who misses a ‘boxier’, tougher and more practical ... “CUV”. The former boxier Escape was popular enough to warrant variants, such as the Mazda Tribute, a hybrid and the Mercury Mountaineer. People love body CUVs, like the Soul, the past Forester, the Element, Jeeps, those Suzuki Samurai’s and Jimny’s.... lest I mention the G-wagon. Most CUV/SUVs today look too soft or look like their designers are trying to hard. I think Ford has hit a home run. Just like you guys, as a Team... but just not as a singing duo.

Great review, as always. The local Ford dealer where I live had one on the lot for test drives and to sit in but not to buy--first, Ford absolutely knocked it out of the park on styling, and it looks even better in person. Second, it is quite small in person, but Ford did a great job with the interior space. Two big negatives for me: all cars in this price range utilize interior hard plastics to some degree, but I was shocked at how much Ford used, especially on the dash. The door handles were the flimsiest, lightest plastic I have ever felt in any car - they feel like they could break in two at any moment. Second negative: outward visibility is not good compared to say Rav4 or Forester, and a huge blind spot over your right shoulder. When I am ready to buy, I'll test drive it to make a final determination, but it does have a lot to offer if you can live with the cheap plastic and limited visibility.

I love the drivers display. The 8 inch touchscreen is ok. The only thing I sometimes have problems with is the Apple CarPlay does always work I have to unplug my phone multiple times to get the music going. I wish the phev escape came in awd

Rented this car on vacation, interior is tiny compared to the Honda CRV I drive at home. On a long road trip my legs felt cramped and tight in this car. Nice exterior, better looking than most, but the small interior kills me.

Reminds me of the Land Rover Defender we got here in Europe many years ago. No coincidence that Ford use to own Land Rover.

The origjnal CR-V already innovated a table underneath the floor, its just Ford bought the idea back into the Bronco Sport.. Compare to Escape, Bronco Sport should be an easier sell in the same showroom.

The PT Cruiser's rear parcel shelf converted to a similar type table as well.

Please show more views from the camera from the back which is pointing the dash and the road, that's an awesome view to see more of the car and how it drives. Yeah, I am waiting for the big one. The little one is fine if you want good transportation, but if you want a toy, go for the big one! Marketingwise, Escape for the girls and Bronco for the boys.

My takeaway is that being Canadian and the 2021 Escapes will soon be rolling out.. buy a 2020 Escape and get that proper 4 cylinder engine and you’re saving big $$$$$

It's missing ventilated seats (which is a necessity in the south) and hybrid option. These are deal killer for me. It's a soft roader anyway unlike it's big brother. I'll go with the 2022 Tucson hybrid

How did people in the south survive the past 100 years without ventilated seats?
@dearbulls3 жыл бұрын
@@OMGWTFLOLSMH same as how Canadian survive the past 100 years without heated seats, heated steering wheel, and heated A/C

Great review of the new Bronco 👌 You two make me laugh! 😅 Ford will sell droves of these. What a great product from Ford. The larger Bronco will also be an interesting vehicle when it drops on the market. Both will be a sales success for Ford.

The 1.5L in the Fusion is a 4-cylinder, whereas the 1.5L in the Bronco Sport and Escape is a 3-cylinder.

That was Ford's entire goal, no doubt - emulate Land Rover Defender and/or Freelander.

Oh man ... wish I had looked at the Bronco Sport to replace my 2002 Escape (4WD, inline 6)! The new Escapes just didn't appeal to me. This even has the glass that opens on the hatch like my old Escape.

Great review guys ! Saw one on the road the other day and looks very “Land Rover Freelander”from the side .. and a little Defender’ish from the rear 3/4 view.
