2021 Ford Mustang Ecoboost High Performance Package Review

Did you know Ford has a High Performance version of the Mustang Ecoboost? Well now you do. Ford released the Ecoboost High Performance Package in 2020 and replaced the original Ecoboost Performance Package. This version of the High Performance Package adds 20 extra horsepower and a bunch of suspension upgrades, which I go over in this video. So let's hop into the 2021 Ford Mustang with the High Performance Package!

Cool video I own the fast back HPP in a six speed manual and there’s is no auto rev matching on either up or downshifts. But it’s easy to heel toe and rev match yourself! Great video as always! Peace ✌️

from P to R. And R to P. it’s l really loud grind. Using paddle shifting it takes 2 seconds to shift. Also when stopping on red from high gear it puts 1” gear to fast and feels grinding clicking

PEAK torque is unchanged, but it's delivered over a broader range, with more area under the torque curve.

I got a gunmetal gray 2021 fastback Ecoboost w/ the HPP and handling package a little over a month ago. Super awesome and I would recommend the fastback. I personally think convertibles are ugly, so the one in this video would be a pass for me.

I am probably buying an Ecoboost simply due to the better mpg. Have to be my daily as I only have room for 1 vehicle at my condo and have a 60 mile round trip daily commute. I am expecting probably 10mpg less in a GT, which adds up quickly with today's gas prices. Also assume that my insurance will be cheaper for the Eco. I do love that V8 sound though. It's a tough decision.

Yeah the EcoBoost does have better mpg, though my overall mpg in my GT is 20, so not as bad as expected.
