I’m a Ram guy but GM has the best diesel in the 150/1500 lineup. Issue with towing, from what I understand, is the overheating of the engine. With the engine design and design of the truck, they can’t keep it cool enough. Seeing other towing reviews of the competitors vs GM, towing the same load, GM wins hands down. If under 9k of course...

Yes, that's the difficult part. GM guy normally and that Duamax 3.0 power train is a great set up. Made in the good old 🇺🇸. But, you get in thr Ram Limited and that interior and fit and finishes are hard to pass up. Plus the Fiat Eco Diesel is built in Italy.

Truck sales are going through the roof is due to people buying rv camping trailers to go somewhere and to do something i this COVID-19 restrictions, border closures and lock downs. Very few trailers on the lot also.

Those big diesel trucks you see up and down the freeway are in line 6 cyl engines. Many have a million miles on them. In line is definitely better than V/6.
