Yeah I thought that too, but I also rationalized that NECA probably didn't have the highest resolution photos of the bat while making this figure, after all it's not like they had access to the actual prop when they made it. And also they have included smaller text details in the past, like the silver shamrock pins on the masks of the H3 kids. So I do think it is just that they didn't have access to footage that showed the text well enough, so they probably opted not to put it on there at all instead. If this guy ever gets a reissue with new paint or accessories, I do expect the bat to have the text at that point in time.

I’ve always loved battle damage in movies and that was always one of my issues with the original series he almost never kept damage throughout the series now that he’s bloodied and hurt and burned he’s more badass more angry more terrifying

I have all Jasons including Roy Burns. My collection excludes retro and Part 7. Retro Jason is difficult to get. I have a Freddy to go along with FvJ Jason. I got a Walter White with his chemical set, Saul Goodman, John Wick with guns from Chapter 2, Michonne and Glenn which are smaller figurines. A load of Pirates of Caribbean characters and Black Pearl ship from when I was younger and a bunch of stuff that I collected. I had a Scooby Doo and figurines and an A-Team van despite not being around in the 80s or knowing much about the show at that point. If I had the money I would have a massive set up with roads, trains etc with the figurines hanging around. There used to a street setup where the corners rotate and it had roads and everything. I wish I had the figurines for it. It is best to have a collection but I like the mixed up characters as you can use your imagination as to why they would appear in the same realm.

Love the figure, hope they do hit shelves before Halloween. Really excited for the 40th anniversary H2 Michael Myers and Dr. Loomis 2 pack. Finally an ultimate Loomis, hoping Neca will make us collectors a 1:4 scale h2 Myers and Dr. Loomis, who wouldn't want a 1:4 scale Dr. Loomis and Michael from Halloween 2? It's a guaranteed seller. Wow, this looks fantastic! Can't wait to buy it. The paint work is way better than I thought it'd be. The promo photos sort of hid him in shadows, and it is standard affair that the prototypes always have better paint, but in this case it is pretty damn 1 to 1. All that black really goes a long way to bring out all the creases in the clothes. And that mask is just amazing! Only complaint is that the bat doesn't appear to have the writing that it has on it in the film, but I can't blame NECA too hard for that one. It seems like they just didn't have very detailed images of the bat while making the figure, as they have included smaller details on other figures prior, so I don't really blame them on that front.

It wouldn’t sell. Sadly no female figures sell as well as almost any guy figure. That’s why we never got any final girl figures til 2018 with old Laurie and she didn’t sell well! I always wanted a Nancy & Kristen.

Female characters do sell properly. It just depends on who they are. Pirate of Caribbean characters sold well, I had a Gertie figurine from ET, Michonne etc. They should have made a younger Laurie Strode instead of grumpy ol' Laurie.

Personally this is the first Myers figure I bought that I permanently am keeping in the box and making it permanently displayed on my wall. I loved Michael of course and James Jude Courtney is such a badass actor. I liked the movie better than 2018 and my personal opinion and that may be controversial, I personally still haven't gotten a great Halloween movie with James Jude Courtney as myers. Hopefully this next one makes that happen. That's why I have the figures / the collectibles of the James Jude Courtney Myers from both films but not the movies lol.
