@@psycholordb7811 Polaris is very tempting but IMO not on par with the Japanese manufacturers as far as QDR. I also bought a Yamaha, a Grizzly 700 SE

damn this sucks.. they need to recall this and fix it asap i hope the 850 doesnt have this issue, im gonna try to get one this weekend haha i will check it out

They have had the same type of issue since at least 2016. The cover for the clutch has a poor seal design and can leak very easily.

The rubber seal behind my primary clutch was ruined.... Contacted the dealer they said that it is under warranty and was told they had to replace the whole clutch cover. Shortly after I had the same problem and was again told I had to replace the whole clutch cover went to another dealer and was able to just buy the rubber seal. Had to buy a new clutch for 1k and it doesn't even come complete. Never been in puddles just use around the farm. Bought a clutch remover and was sold the wrong one

I question the engineering on my old 2002 Sportsman 700 daily. Seems they are still "figuring it out" 😂😂.

Thanks! I was about bying one right now. Easy to fix if you know about it.... Have You heard from Polaris?

Yes I send emails to them and they said they will address this issue with there engineering department and they gave me a 250$ coupon for the belt , it’s a easy fix but I hope they come out with a recall or something to fix the issue

@@FOGELL_TheGreat I was looking at a 570 sportsman (bought another brand instead) but the cvt intake and especially the exhaust made me wonder wtf Polaris engineers were thinking. Glad you got it fixed up but for the money you shouldn’t have to!

@@northerntoyota7584 yeah it sucks at had to make my own modifications but I contacted Polaris and they gave me a 250$ gift card for the belt and the troubles I was having

I have a 2021 570 trail with 300km on it and it’s been in the shop 3 times already for the same problem . Let me tell you what a Piece of s***. But the real problem is when you go through a bit of water and then you in counter a hill right after and cvt is slipping all the way up . Let me tell that is pretty sketchy and then you bring these concerns to the dealership and Polaris and they tell you that there is nothing wrong with the design but the first time I brought it to the dealership, Polaris covered the cost of the dealership and right there that to me they just admitted that they are at fault with this design. So , the 2nd and 3rd time in the shop I had to cover the dealership cost such bs I went out to buy a new machine so I didn’t have to worry about problems but I was wrong?

Sucking water into the engine is going to ruin the belt? What?
@Idaho-Spud2 жыл бұрын
That’s not the engine intake. It’s the CVT intake where the belt is located.
