In this video I show you how to install EGR Slimline In-Channel Window Visors in a 2021 Ram Rebel Crew Cab. I give you some extra tips that are not in the installation manual and then we test it by going through an automatic brush carwash.

Flip side mirrors vertically, they won't touch visor when folded for truck wash👍

Hey Boone, watched your install on the OEM bug deflector and just installed one on my Rebel today. Watched this video and ordered a set of these just now. Have the AVS smoked on and the driver side warped after a couple months. Why did you go with smoked instead of the Matte, think matte would match the front, fender flares and window molding better. But I guess it's personal preference. Truck looking good.

I honestly don't remember having options between smoke and matte when I ordered but you are probably right that matte would match better. Do you know if you can see through the matte finish?

@@BooneDownSouth Also, I noticed that you haven't dressed up that hood area yet. I have a red Rebel and put on the red decals stickers on the hood lettering, the 1500/HEMI raised letters. Boy it makes the hood pop and gets alot of compliments. You can get those in blue also to match the truck.

@@robertalexander1826 Yea I like that idea. Where did you get those? I did do something like that on the interior of mine. Where it says Rebel on the glove box the letters are recessed and there is a guy on ebay who sells exact size stickers that fit that spot. That looks pretty good.

Any issues with the windows rolling up or anything, I just bought a 2021 Rebel as well a few weeks ago and I put some AVS in mine like I did on my 18 Ram but these warped like crazy! almost touching my window! so sending those back! I pull my truck in my garage every day and use my power mirrors to fold them and dont want them wearing a spot on the mirror or visor. They looks great just so many brands and so many bad reviews on almost all of them haha. Just wondering how you liked them or had any issues. Thanks!

@Dhall8621 - I have had no issues with my EGR window visors. Like I mentioned in the video, when folding the power mirrors in it will touch the visor and push it in a little on the driver's side only. It does not touch on the passenger side. My truck stays parked outside and I fold my windows regularly when parking in public parking areas. They have been on my truck for about 6 weeks and so far no warping and no marks where the mirror touches the visor. I just went and looked them over again just to make sure and they look great!

So why does the back set have the tape but not the front? And what cover do you have there?

I guess it is because the front one has so much more shape and the pressure keeps it there. Not so on the back one so that is probably why the tape. That cover is the BakFlip Mx4 which showed up damaged and holes drilled improperly. They send me a second one and that leaked like a seive. I installed these last week..Quick question when I roll my driver window down the rain guard is loos...Is your like that also?

No it is not. If I remember right once you installed them you had to leave the windows up for a few days though for everything to set. Mine are snug and tight.

@@BooneDownSouth yea I actually left them up for 5 days...It was fine then we got hit with some hot weather and when I opened the driver window,It came down with the window.Not completely out but it moved. Just happened now and when I grab it it's loose it wiggles around.All the other windows are good...🤷‍♂️

Yea mine are matte. I don't think I had any choices for my Rebel.

Still holding up and still on my truck. I also run my truck through an automatic car wash like twice a week.
