The wee dynamo that is Jane "Drano" Wiedlin has such a youthful exuberance that is such a great joy to witness. She's 63yrs old here and, her energy and presence (and, wonderful harmony vocals) are as infectious and angelic as they were when I first saw The Go-Gos live at Vancouver's legendary punk dive The Smilin Buddha in early 1980! And, Jane is an amazing songwriter too. Charlotte and Jane (with solid contributions from Kathy) were the main songwriting axis of the band. Jane is a very interesting person also

Suzi Quatro.....boy does that name bring back memories. When I was in Japan in the 70s Suzi songs were all over the juke boxes, Like Cheap Trick, she was absolutely idolized in Japan. It was such a cool night seeing her come home to Detroit and lead off for Alice Cooper in the 70s on the "Welcome to My Nightmare: tour.

Huge Go-Go's fan. Just seems like everything was magical that night for them -- the charged atmosphere, being inducted/introduced by their biggest fan Drew Barrymore, killer performance, the afterglow (which I'm sure was fantastic). They're probably still basking in the light...lol.

I flew to Cleveland from Denver with my sister. We attended the RRHOF in person. It was so amazing and The Go Go's were phenomenal. They were the main reason we went in addition to seeing Tina Turner, Kraftwerk and L.L. Cool J being inducted. It was definitely a bucket last night and I will remember it for the rest of my life.. Congratulations Ladies!. It's about f**kin time. You're true icons and legends.

Not only the FIRST all female band to write and play everything on a #1 worldwide smash album...but, advocates for a number of excellent causes and groups as well as heroes/idols/inspiration for a literal NATION of females (and, males also!!!) who were empowered and driven to "just give'r" and, join them in tearing down the misogynistic walls and, kick against the pricks in the musical "boys club" and freakin ROCK! I saw a video of Paul McCartney seeking out Charlotte and Jane to declare himself a big fan of the band...ANNNNND, of their amazing songwriting and craft! SIR PAUL IS NO FOOL...NOR IS HE A STRANGER TO A WELL CRAFTED SONG (OR A WHOLE OUVRE OF EXCELLENT TUNES!

Saw them at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado back in the 90's. They rocked the house. Seen many musicians performing at Red Rocks! Best place to see a concert, EVER! They tour with The B-52's that yr...maybe 2000?

About time the Rock Hall inducted an all girl's 1980s band. It took them only over 40 years to pull this off. Plenty other 1980s bands have been inducted all these years and they finally get it now. I think this is the first time I have heard a band in a long time play with just the original members as they are all all alive and relatively good health. They sound great considering it is just them and no one else. The five originals and they seem to be having some fun like they used to have on stage.
