How about using actual street spots and penalizing ABDs? That’s something that would actually push the level of skateboarding. As it is, SLS only rewards the same tricks that are repeated on every “hand rail!” Installed on a SLS course

@@davidking8903 true, I spend more time on a skateboard than watching it. But every SLS park is basically identical with a few new colors and shapes. I agree. I started entering contests in the mid 80's and and you had to nail a whole run of 45 seconds to a minute. I do like best trick too however and appreciate that they get a handful of attempts to land something that's a bit much for a run. I'd appreciate seeing both forms of skateboarding equally in a contest setting. Both are difficult and different

Glad the guy who won got in as a wild card and scored the highest run score of the year. It's ridiculous that only one run is done and the score can be dropped. Go back to the format where a run score counted and rewarded consistency and rewarded taking risks with difficult tricks thrown into the run. There are other SLS pros who go out and do tricks that score 8s. No chance of winning like that. This guy took his chance and went for 9s and won it. Great effort!

How do you give Kelvin a lower score for the kickflip bs lip, when he did it before anyone else did? Is it because he showed up Midler? Didn't Nyjah do the same, though? Seriously, what is going on with the judging lately. The berrics, and now SLS. Well, then again, they totally robbed Tiago on the uphill 50-50 in some other competition. Hopefully it's not a trend against brazilians, or just the continuing nyjah trend. edit: I see now that nyjah went from the kicker which is a 2ft longer gap. Still... gap to anything is harder from flat imo.
