Thanks by the way Bosch which I have does have a power meter and kiox will display this as riders power input , unfortunately my garmin edge does not detect it as it’s hard wired to the kiox so the Brose system is quite unique that regard

Will any bike computer work with this to get power? Does it just set up like a regular power meter? I feel like I tried this last summer, maybe I missed something
@woodpecker64524 жыл бұрын
Does the EP8 also have a built in power meter that can be detected by your bike computers?
@vitalmtb4 жыл бұрын
there has to be some kind of power meter within the system. whether it can be tapped into is the question. we've done a bit of quick research and don't see an option, but we'll keep checking and will let you know.

I have a question. If let's say you run out of battery, can you still pedal it easily like a normal bike? Or does the motor hold your power back a little
@vitalmtb4 жыл бұрын
The Levo SL is light enough you can pedal out fairly easily. Greg said he's ridden w/ the motor off on a few occasions, just for *fun* and training.
@sergeikulichkov77484 жыл бұрын
Highly depends on a bike and a motor. In my Canyon Neuron with E8000 pedalling with empty battery sucks. But I did it for 5 months while my defected battery was in replacement process

Couldn't agree more! The E-MTB is a great training and fitness tool that has become a great disruptor in the MTB industry. Every brand is starting to make them and they are proving their value every day. To the nay-sayers, I say try one and you'll fall in love and will add one to your quiver!

I used to maintain a fleet of throttle ebikes and class1 ebikes. We took them on rides here and there. What I noticed was not only endurance increase as well as distance but the bike showed the rider his/her potential. More saddle time equals more fun without being exhausted.

Loved this. However, gotta give some constructive criticism. You suffer from pretty bad down-speak/vocal fry at the end of almost every sentence. Also sounds like you're reading a book report to the class. My suggestion: punch it up a bit and let some of your obvious passion for the subject be reflected in your presentation. Just my opinion, so feel free to take or toss as you see fit. 🙂 Back to E-bike training, on-trail ERG mode FTW, no need for Zwift!
