2021 Steam to Victory, Age of Steam Roundhouse, Sugarcreek Ohio

I am aware some of the footage is a little shaky, unfortunately I usually only have one chance to record a video and hope it turns out good. there were many more things in display on the property that I did not get to film before the gates were open to the public. There were many cool things to do including rides on the military vehicles, battle reenactments, artillery demonstrations, roundhouse tours, and brief train rides!

The nkp tender is a c&o tender and was the Ohio central water tender for a while until mid 2000 when the 1522 water tender was bought

I was there for this years Steam to Victory event. Rode on the coach right behind the engine. Just wish I got to see inside the roundhouse more.

Was a very fun event can't wait to go again I really hope for some main line exursions someday even if it's only to sugar Creek and back

I would love for that to happen, unfortunately I am not optimistic about it happening in the next 5-10 years.

@@mattkinnard6899 I have some hope, I think putting 19 on the polar express trips out of Dennison isn't out of the realm of possibility and who knows if the 19, 12, or other engines will get to run on some shortlines

So M&NF #12 is the only operating steam locomotive in the Age of Steam Roundhouse?

At the moment that is correct. Oregon Pacific and Eastern 2-8-2 #19 should be done in another year or two. There are quite a few locomotives at AOS that are in very good, close to operational conditions, but they need their 1472 inspection/overhaul.

I've been here to this museum and you have to be careful. Because this museum tells very big lies and claim the number 19 steam engine that they have was in the movie emperor the North and the other movie it was in. Is. Standby me? Both claims are not true but our tour guide. At the very end showed us his convertible white convertible with plates that said boiler or boiler man. I don't remember but it's sad because that is not true and that's not the way to sell tickets.
