hello, I haver a DF60A, can i use the same cable to hook it up to my simrad GO9? Many thanks..

Simrad and lowrance are the same company so it should work. I assume you have controls so the connection will be different and I do not know where the dsta connector would go. I believe I read somewhere that it connects at the controls.

Did you ever do a follow up video on the installation on this? I’m trying to install mine currently on a Lowrance HDS and would like to know what you went through to get it to work. Thanks

I made a video but it's posted on my instagram. "Hoang.Nguyen82" it's pinned to the top of my page.

It’s interesting as Suzuki only list the DF40 model as compatible with nmea2k

I believe if its EFI.. the computer has a data port for diagnostics. Thats the same port used to connect to the SMIS interface.

I just looked it up. It reads data from DF9.9 and up to DF300 outboards.

Did you need any other cables besides the v3.5 suzuki cable that plugs into the nema network ? (I have a DF25a - which is pretty much the same motor de-tuned)

You'll need a SMIS to SDS cable adaptor. It's $55 bucks at Browns point marine... After that, it's all plug and play.
