I really like your focus on the feel/communication from the vehicle. I've got a couple of queries that would be great to have your take on: 1. Is it possible to mod more numb vehicles to become more communicative whilst still maintaining some comfort/refinement for the road? Or do you think that it is more a direct trade-off between refinement and communication/feel and that you can't setup to achieve both? 2. Do you think that vehicles such as the GR86 are more communicative because they are less refined and that the NVH is the actual communication? Or are they two separate things?

1. It’s a trade off but the sweet spot from factory is often not what you want. 2. They are related but separate things. There are some shitboxes that have poor NVH and not great communication either

Its very likely the SPL arms. They provide improved steering response snd feedback in S2ks and other cars Ive seen it on. Can you ask the owner which exact arms he used

The car has SPL front lower control arms, tie rod links, and several other parts. I bet most of it comes from tie rod links, since it’s related to steering. Supra steering calibration has been updated over the years and this car was recently updated at a dealership due to a communication module recall. I felt like the steering tightened up a bit after the update, maybe because the older cars can get the new calibration?

Shouldn’t put more power down till you can match the performance you’re given

Stock power.... For now... :D

I need more driver mod than power mod right now. (Owner) It’s also just more practical to drive lap after lap on stock power, with less overheating and less reliability issues
