Amazing video. So I have the dark interior clothe and I like I but I don’t have heated seats. I was trying to pay attention to exactly the miNimum work needed to add the heating elements/pads. Do you think it’s possible without actually removing the entire seat? Seems like it might be doable but curious if your thoughts.

I think you’d really be fighting with it and possibly damaging the seat cover trying to cheat it in. Taking the seats out (at least the front seats) really is a few bolts and a plug or two. You’d have the seat out in maybe 10 minutes and that will save you a ton of time.

Is this similar to the 2018 Toyota RAV4 LE seat?
@DentRepairNow2 ай бұрын
I have no idea. I’d imagine a Toyota seat is similar to another Toyota seat but couldn’t say for sure. Sorry.

Hey Gean Grey video I'm getting ready to do seats in my 2020 Tundra. Your video mentioned adding heated seats and you said something about getting the factory switch do you have more info on that I want to do the factory set up as well

I got my covers and heated seats from a seller on eBay. I can’t remember their name but I believe they’re pretty big and are based in Arkansas. Pretty sure it’s these guys. www.ebay.com/str/touchupsautomotive Only downside is the backlight doesn’t match factory colors but you can’t actually see it unless you bend over. The fit and finish of the switches is a factory look for sure. Good luck and take your time on them.

Hello. Nice work. I'd like to add the heat to my 2014 Tundra. What kit did you use? I like that it uses the factory spots. I am considering replacing the OEM covers too so this was helpful. Thank you.

what about the carpet? do you sell an upgraded carpet and if you do, do you have a video on how to remove the old one and install the new one? if anyone reading this could you guys leave me a link to a how to remover the toyota tundra 2014-2021 carpet. I have my seats removed already. now i need to remove the carpet.

We don’t sell any of this. We just did the install on the shop truck. If your seats are out you probably need to start taking the trim off of the sill plates/rockers, kick panels, possibly the center console, and b and c Pilar trim.

I can't find the same heated seat kit to save my life. The link you posted doesn't appear to sell them.

I wonder if that’s because of the model change in 22?????? If you can find the contact information for the company I bought from they may be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck.

Is the driver seat the hardest or do you have to do this with every seat in the truck? looks like a lot of work for somebody that has no experience in this
@gafphoto6 ай бұрын
It looks intimidating but with some mechanical skill it’s not as scary as ut looks. If memory serves the drivers seat was the most complicated but definitely totally doable. The worst part was actually the headrests on every seat.

Yeah, but no, those little things at the rear dont just pull off with a spring clip, so what am i missing?
@DentRepairNow11 ай бұрын
It’s been a couple years. What’s the time stamp you’re talking about. I’m happy to look at the section you’re talking about and see I can remember.

What do you do with the cloth upholstery you remove?
@DentRepairNow10 ай бұрын
We ended up throwing it away because we damage the first seat. Seeing how it works now we would’ve save the cloth and sold it
@tylerjones2348 Жыл бұрын
where did you get the seat coolers???
@DentRepairNow Жыл бұрын
We only did warmers. I know they make cooler systems but you have to have perforated leather for it to work. You’ll have to google around. Maybe try the Katzskin site.
