Great to hear! It does make a big difference. I have also seen aftermarket parts for the puddle light, and it has a lot more leds. But I worry those are going to be too bright.

Thanks @LSFT for the video. I think it's a decent upgrade and the brightness is much better. It's it worth the CAD$150 it costs from the dealer though? I'm not convinced it is... Also, Lexus website says the logo is added. I didn't notice that in your video. Does it project the logo when on?

The logo one is set on the side doors. Not the rear lift gate. Online it's about $90 usd.

Definitely more brighter. There are aftermarket options which is even more brighter, but I feel those are too bright.

Great that's easy enhancements. But quick question in the picture you have on the 4 leds it look like bright up the trunk too! Is that true or just left the trunk light on. Thank you

Just the trunk light... it brightens up the area.. I would say if you are under the trunk lid, you will be blocking it.

You can go to the dealer and order the part from the parts department. I bought it online via Ebay from a dealership in the US. It's a little cheaper (depending on exchange rate).

Nice. Way to stretch a 2 min video into 12 min. Disconnecting the battery for this is worse than switching off the house breaker main before replacing a light bulb. 😂

Is there any switch to turn off the rear puddle light? Sometimes I'll leave the read door open but shut the car off, not sure if it will drain the 12v battery.

My understanding is that the light will turn off after 20 mins. There is no button to turn it off.

There are aftermarket ones that are much cheaper and brighter. You can always buy aftermarket parts. This has always been a world gouging customers when it comes to auto parts. Check out other brands and their parts.
