I’m 34, first time driving a BMW. I went with a 430i. Now it doesn’t have much power but let tell you. That torque plus turbo boost makes a difference. With almost 300 pounds feet of toque. You will not feel disappointed. It’s a nice cruiser, it’s a well balance car. The interior is very good, mine is standard to clearly what I mean by that is I did not upgrade to M package. No sports break, no upgraded speaker system. The stand speaker system is really good for what it is. As for gas, if you can avoid flooring it a lot it will definitely save you gas expenses. Overall I am satisfied with it. It’s definitely a car to look at and test drive before you make your decision. It’s good for what it is. The quality interior is solid. No rattling plastic. If you are wanting to buy one, for enjoyment it’s a good choice to have.

On this Thanksgiving Day ... Thank you for the reviews that you do. I will admit that the massive grill of the 4 Series is growing on me. Motoring around town or on the open road while driving a set of bucked teeth ... what's not to like. I'm also more to the liking of the two door. My main issue with all cars that I've owned is wind and road noise. You did touch on this at the end of the review, but could you go a bit more into that point?

I just bought a 23 340i grand coupe, I've owned BMWs for the past 30 year, and my needs have changed,. I needed 1car be used as a business and daily driver. I've owned x1 x1m35i ( biggest mistage) x2, and x3s. The 430 was a good compromise car. I got the easy itocargo, and still had a car with low cg.. The 430 is a nice overpriced German car. that drives great. If BMW offered a 330 couple hatch I would have bought one.

I bought out my 2018 430I xdrive cause of COVID and chip shortages, the 2021 4 series wasn’t out. Now that we are in 2022, the 4 series doesn’t come in 4 wheel drive (xdrive) only the M430 comes in Xdrive. I just wish they made this car in 4WD. I have no clue why they stopped it for this year. Where I live it snows.

I like the looks but the interior looks cheaper than my 18 430i gran coupe. Electric heated seats are a must, also I would like to see more wood grain as that gives it the luxury feel.

I would argue that the public is not "demanding" crossover vehicles; they're being foisted upon us by automotive manufacturers looking to maximize profits by producing their entire lineup on a single platform (which is why virtually everything these days looks the same). The public doesn't produce anything, it consumes whatever is available.

I like your reviews, but I dont see why having to manually adjust your seats would be a “really cool characteristic”. I do like the lines of this car though.

Because you never see that on cars anymore especially from BMW. To have an opportunity to film a car in 2021 that has manually adjustable seats while at the same time being RWD when we never get that for consumer cars up here in New England is something that I found really cool about that particular model. It’s also not supposed to be offered, as BMW made a mistake with their first round of 430i’s. They’ll all come equipped with power seats except for a handful of cars. The rarity is something I thought was really neat
