There's something so intoxicating about POV track driving. Hope to see the BRZ back out there later on after some bigger, better brakes. Also, that was a great message at the end. Learning how to control my emotions and depression instead of it controlling me has taken a long time, and I still don't know how. Always appreciate the words of encouragement Evan.

Honestly I'd just go FBO+Tune (assuming the 2.4 responds well to those), Suspension, Brakes, Wheels and Tires and possibly some Aero and just track it as is. It looks fun as hell already 😤🔥🔥🔥🔥

Don’t you have to break in the car first?? I thought for the first 1000 miles you aren’t suppose to go over 4K rpm and only half throttle. You have the vehicles manual, read it!

You should look into a Brembo brakes retrofit from the older gen, I'm assuming the whole suspension compartment is the same as the old car considering coilovers from it still bolt to this new one, so that should be a nice brake upgrade for it. Also, they're not PS4Ss, they're just normal PS4s. Still a great tire but not as good as the S ofc lol

Pads and fluid are all you need for stock power. I have Carbotech XP12s and rbf600 on my 86 and haven't managed to fade the brakes on track days or tail of the dragon. Don't get yellows, the only street pad I would get for this car is the stoptech sports

My anxiety has been so bad I actually blocked out from an attack yesterday, been ages since iv been able to take my own car out and just drive it with full confidence. Getting back into the rhythm of things more now tho. Not allow buddy, just keep that good ol distraction therapy 👌

I get the feeling you're the kind of guy who will work his way through his issues.....So - mine comes in two weeks. Found out it was manufactured this last Monday. First thing is a new exhaust. Cough it up and tell me what type of exhaust you're putting on and what made you pick this particular brand of exhaust? I keep leaning on HKS. Love the burble sound it throws off but I'll look at other brands.

Great video! It's true that the stock brakes are the limitation on this car. I had an FRS with some speed upgrades but stock everything else, and I was surprised that the brakes were completely toast after a few laps

So much for waiting the "break in" period after buying a new car. :) I was told to not push a car hard for the first like 1,500 miles after buying a brand new car.

Most owners manuals have mileage points for a break in period such as don’t use full acceleration before 600 miles and avoid hard breaking before 200 miles. But they are supposed to be broken in at the factory as well.

Nice! Glad to see someone can actually get one of these out there! Although a couple things. More a slight concerns. The brakes and the gear indicator light. One is more important than the other, however the previous videos I've seen from Topher and Smoking Tire and Savage Geese have shown the indicator slightly lag. Maybe an update will come out later?

I have a 2023 on order but that seems to be my biggest worry are the brakes. The 2019 "Raiu" had a nice braking package. Oh on a side note I have 2022 86 on order but my guess is the BRZ will be the one the comes in first

I know wheel specs, catback exhausts, coilovers, and most suspension parts are interchangeable between the first and second gen, so if you don’t see much advertised for the second gen then def look into the first gen aftermarket

Better pads and brake fluid will fix that right up. If the new model has the same brake caliper as the 1st Gen, order some Raybestos ST45 pads for the front and some Redline RL 600 fluid. 👌 Great content, keep it up!!

Not sure if you have seen any reviews on the car but if you launch control (I think) it actually breaks the tires loose in 1 and 2 (I think) but I’m pretty sure that the other brz didn’t

With new cars you're supposed to drive it easy for 5000 miles before going hard, you probably aren't aware of this because this is your first new car, but going hard right off the bat is not great for the long term durability

i have a question Evan, isn`t there a break in period on the car. like the engine, trans and diff? reason I ask is because someone I know bought the new g80 M3 and he needs to complete the break in period. he needs to drive the car for 2500 km and keep the rpm under 4500 and cant use 100% throttle and cant use launch control. the dealership also said to him that if he doesn`t do/follow the break in period he could loose his warranty. excuse for my bad english. I live 30 minutes from harris hill. What event did you go to? Trying not to pay 6k to use there track 3-5 times a year Also, all you need is an upgraded pad and dot 4 fluid, you're probably boiling the stock fluid
