They seem to have delivered what they've promised. Maybe not 500km, but around 400 still seems pretty good. And I'm a fan of the way the car is set up to drive like a regular car instead of a performance EV. Efficiency and range are far more important than 0-60 performance. Exciting times.

Atto 3 has drag coefficient of 0.29 not 0.21, and if driven sanely I think will definitely give 400+ km.

I bought this car recently with the main intention of having driving comfort. But I am regretting it now due to the following reasons. 1. My back is sweating if I drive the car even for 1 hour and there is no use even if I turn on full AC. I am feeling very uncomfortable to drive after an hour and long drives might cause even more discomfort to me. This defeats the very purpose of my buying this car. 2. I recently dashed another car slightly during a traffic jam. The car's technology did not apply automatic break although it was claimed so by the company. So, the safety has become a concern now. 3. BYD's roadside assistance is very basic as the customer has to pay for any damage that happens during towing. In my case, I was asked to pay around 3.5 lakhs for towing damages. Because the insurance pays only for accidental damage but not for the towing damage. So, I am made responsible for the damage caused by BYD. I did not even complete my first 1000 km. I am now wondering what I gained by buying this car. ...

Of course due to tariffs its overpriced but if fair competition is given it might cost u around 25 lacs on road but anyway what i am curious and excited is its chemistry which is lfp so changing cycles will ne double of lithium ion batteries and even more curious and excited bcoz of its blade battery technology honestly it would have blown Indian car market and ev market if it was introduced in India on fair way nobody would have even can matchup with their sales

With 61.5kW battery, range of 400 is not extraordinary. This is about 7.5 kms per kw, very much similar to Nexon. If Tata brings 60kw battery in Harrier EV they can match this performance.

Exterior of BYD seems dull and normal. It doesnot attract the eyeballs. Even after spending 40 lakhs, one will be dissapointed that it doesnot have the flash value.

Like all electric cars it collects data , if you use the car like any other person predicted range will increase. Since this a test drive vehicle it must've gone through alot of abuse and hard driving earlier that's why it showed only 350km. Over time with real world driving like a common man you can extract alot more range.

Mg zs ev is best if it offers all topmost varianta t 21_22 lkh i stead of 28 ,,it could change the game of ev in India 🇮🇳... frankly speaking its way more premium and superior to.nExon ...and rest all..hope mg team read my post 😃

Not sure who'd want to buy this. Exterior doesn't stand out, doesn't have "travel" range, no good ground clearance, overpriced, no idea how after sales and service will be, and not even the fig leaf of British or Swedish heritage to placate the moral quandary of buying a Chinese brand, especially if India China relations go south again.

the range difference between this one and the ZS EV isn't much. It's not worth paying the extra 5-6L if you budget allows only the ZS EV. Plus, the interiors of ZS EV feel more premium.
