I've had my CT4 Sport for 3 months now. Love this car for the $. Didn't think the 2.0T was going to be enough but I'm surprisingly happy with the peppiness and MPG. Great review !

Mid 6 seconds 0-60 is kinda slow for a new Cadillac. I mean if this was early 2000’s that’s fine. But my 2014 ats is 2.0t and 272hp 0-60 in 5.7 and I get 32mpg hwy. I don’t agree with dropping the ltg and putting this new motor in. I love the looks of the ct4 but it would have to be at the least a V. That 2.7T is a pretty solid motor and should be able to make tons more power.

@@adamhayden5152 Compared to the ATS I can definetely see where you are coming from. I'm hoping some aftermarket support comes up but on these new platforms the ECU is locked tight. I did hear the next gen LSY engine will have a bump in power. 2.7T would be the better option but waiting a good 8 months for it didn't sit well with me... damn covid

For a vehicle labeled as " aSport" yes it could be a little more powerful but I live in flat Florida & it has a nice sporty feel but when I travel in the mountains is where I'd notice it at. But for 40k its damn nice. I'd upgrade to the bigger motor & put some 20" wheels on it .

Good looking ride, looks better than the CT5, don't like the roofline @ the C pillar much on the 5. Doesn't sound bad for a 4 cylinder either. I drove one a couple yrs ago, they're surprisingly peppy.

I just took delivery of a 2022 Cadillac CT4 Sport. I had to trade it in for my 2020 Cadillac CT4-V in Velocity Red. I loved that car but the Girlfriend wouldn't go anywhere near it. I settled for this new one. No complaints.

That’s a hard one, first I would try to drive them both, smooth ride the Lexus, feels sporty the Cadillac. Tech and exterior appearance Cadillac, inside room Lexus. Both are sporty so storage doesn’t really matter.

I just drove an IS350 F Sport with adaptive suspension and was not impressed with the suspension at all. It was like all 4 shocks had a mind of their own. I need to drive one of these Caddys.

My issue with the latest generation of Cadillac sedans (CT4 and CT5) is that because they dropped the starting price of the vehicles some $10k lower than the outgoing ATS and CTS the cars simply dont feel as luxurious as they did before...at this point things like fully digital gauges should be standard on a luxury vehicle, as well as dual or pano sunroof...and a bigger infotainment screen (the one in the CT4 is just too small). I get that sales were lackluster on the last gen but they shouldnt have dropped the price so drastically to the point where you dont even feel like the base models are a luxury vehicle.

That is a good point but on the flip side it makes it more attractive to new buyers because of the bargain pricing. I agree that the screen should be larger and digital gauge clusters would make it more sporty and luxurious 👍🏻

@@joshua3630 I dont want it to be pricier just for the sake of it but the reality is that the old ATS and CTS were direct competitors with BMW (3 and 5 Series), Mercedes (C and E class), and Audi (A4/A5/A6). You could put the Cadillac sedans side by side with any German competitors and it was clear that they were in the same league. The CT4 and CT5 however are now undercutting these cars by $10k or more at the base level, and that simply is not possible without forgoing many options that people expect to be standard in a luxury vehicle at this point in time. And you might argue then ofc people can start adding options and get a well equipped one for a similar price as a German car but the problem then is that all of a sudden the value proposition is gone...and for the same money they can get a car with better brand name, experience, and luxury.

@@tintocherian7715 Ive never been in a Caddy but I have in the Audi Q3 and BMW X1. Both are cars at 40k and they all come standard equipped with items and features that would make a Chevrolet or Ford cost 50k. I read about the CT4 and CT5 and the window sticker looks similar to Audi and BMW. Are you saying the quality of the features and gadgets is lower quality?

@@joshua3630 The CT4 starts at $34k whereas a BMW 3 series starts at $44k...so how can the CT4 ever hope to compete for those same buyers? Cadillac would argue that the CT4 is supposed to be in line with the 2 series but as far as vehicle dimensions the CT4 compares to a 3 series and the CT5 with a 5 series...and the CT5 starts at $38k while the 5 series starts at $56k.

I had a deal on one and chose a mini countryman with no features instead. I think in the end I regret the mini but I also find this car very rectangular not sure on the look. price is amazing and fully loaded but unsure

2021 and up all digital 12inch gauge cluster and the 330i is about 1.5 inches smaller in length than the CT4. You might want to check surrounding areas or states for the Sport, some dealerships will help with delivering it.

@@HawkeyeRides I traded in a 2023 xt4 i was happy with and got a countryman because of the drive. it has no features at all but the ride is great. i do miss some of the features like wireless charging blind spot monitoring, but the ride is in the mini is so good. i do love being lower to the ground. i will never look an suv again. however should i have gotten the um I don’t know, . the ct4 after looking again just doesn’t look right. to rectangular for its looks. but for the price it might have been the better choice. nice small inside which I like but the outside unsure. I kind of regret not getting the ct4 but I think in the end the drive of the mini is better.

Cadillac CT4 really hasn't changed since it debuted. You'd expect some revisions just due to it's competitors have a lot of niceties compared to the CT4, so you'd think Caddy might add some things like ambient lighting, trunk push-button closing, power adjusting steering wheel, etc.. CT4 is a good daily driver, but you still don't find to many of them around. Wonder why that is?? Is it really selling as much as they say it is??
