Owned a 2021 Z-71 Tahoe fully optioned and loved everything about it. Just ordered a 2023 Z-71 fully optioned with the 6.2 V-8. Yes, the 2024 will have the refreshed interior (13” display), but price point at the moment is perfect for me. A great and really under appreciated SUV. The AT-4 and Denali Yukon from GMC are insanely priced and they are certainly proud of their product, but again, the Tahoe Z-71 provides great aggressive looks at a great value. IMO.

2021 Suburban Z71 owner here. We traded in a 2020 suburban and the ride is so much better on the 21 due to the independent rear suspension. Best riding vehicle I have ever rode in. Took a vacation with 6 people very comfortably as all the luggage fits in with the 3rd row up. The Auto 4x4 saved my wife during a freak winter storm this winter and people were stranded left and right. Even people with Awd cars/crossovers that sat low due to snow high centering vehicles. It benefited me off road when I go to the fireworks show on the lake and can pull right up to the lake for a good view or go on a gravel/dirt park road where I really dont need the 4X4 but it just feels so right and natural and makes me feel like im really an off road outdoors enthusiast but at then end of the day I can run back to town and eat at a 5 star restaurant then go back to the resort or house and relax in the hot tub with the wifey and sip on some wine . This is a realistic review of your average suburban/tahoe z71 owner. Cheers 🥂

13:30 The Z71 is the off-road trim, the improved approach angle from the different bumper likely means no adaptive cruise radar mounting location. By designing these SUVs to be jack of all trades (roomy 3rd row seat, smooth ride, etc.), the IRS lower lateral arms have to be designed lower. I'd like to see this against the new Expedition Timberline.

Ok that cute montage starting at 19:20 would look good on a commercial and all, but wouldn't that get you a well deserved beating from the Tread Lightly crowd? (I know this test course is private property) Again, bouncing and wheel spin galore looks awesome, but it's probably a great way to get a few more miles of forest roads closed to vehicle travel.

I personally don't think that the Chevy Tahoe should have a 3rd row that is what the suburban is for

That big old girl is pretty capable. Just goes to show what a rear locker can do for a vehicle. (hear that Subaru?)
