Except you get a wrangler with a 392 V8 with a manual.. Ford you get a problematic TT v6 with an auto.. Both are the same price. I own a 96 bronco, I rather own the new jeep

I don’t think they can even fit a V8 in the Bronco, I think it’s engine bay is too small. They should have put the 3.5L in this instead of the 3.0L. But I don’t think it’s even possible to shove a 5.2 liter in this rig. This is a great car but once again the V6 is it’s biggest flaw. The Wrangler 392 just doesn’t disappoint knowing it probably has the best engine that can be possibly put in a Wrangler.

@@Freemasonshair All the Crysler Hemi V8s are extremely reliable. Even the supercharged Hellcat engine is ultra durable. Those ecoboosts will break well before the Hemis.

What would you pick for a fun daily driver 4 door version? The manual 4 cylinder, the V6, or the raptor? I was hoping you would compare it to the manual 4 cylinder bc I know you really enjoyed that one calling it an off-road Miata!

I'd personally go for the raptor purely for that crazy engine and the sound it makes. Topher just released a vid of him offroading the raptor. You *HAVE* to check it out!

I wish that both Ford and GM would tune this 10spd transmission to start in 2nd during normal driving. Seeing 1st gear take RPMs up to 2500 and you're only churning 10mph isn't really necessary. This could start in 2nd, probably be easier on fuel and on the powertrain. If you need power, the transmission can kick down to 1st gear. The Germans have been doing this for years -- I had an E39 540i with the 5 speed auto that started in 2nd during easy driving.
