I just cut a big enough slot and pushed the wire through attached to a wire fish line.

I have a companion video each time I made an upgrade. Overall, I love the system as it sits now. I wouldn’t change anything. I have enough bass without being too much and without the car rattling like a tin can when standing outside the car. The mids and highs are loud and clean. The DSP was a big help getting everything dialed in perfectly to my liking. I will say I’m shocked at how well the factory rear speakers have held up. I’m pushing a lot more power to then now and they’ve held up great. I didn’t change the rear speakers, just added sound treatment because they don’t add enough to warrant switching them and I’m impressed with them.

Im about to go thru all of this. Can you tell me all of the speaker sizes and location of the factory amp? I have high end gear i removed from my last car and want to obviously utilize all of it if it fits. I know the front doors are 6.5 splits and the factory sub but thats about it.thx

6.5” front and rear, center is a 3.5”, tweeters 1”, sub 8”, amp is at the back of the trunk passenger side. I have a video for each speaker location on my channel.

I recently got a dsp added to my Kona N. I have a problem with left channels and right channels. In certain songs where the guitar pans to the left, left channel plays on rear door only. And right channel plays on the rest of the doors. Do you happen to have a wiring diagram of which wires you tapped in?

This is pretty impressive. I'd be blasting Jesus Built My Hotrod with my windows down at the track as I pass Golf GTIs and Mustangs. I just can't upgrade my sound system. I feel like doing that to a performance car isn't right. I'd rather spend the money on tires and brake pads and try to get down to 3,000 pounds.

Thank you! I don’t track the car so I’m OK with the weight. My wife has a Veloster N and is more worried about performance over the audio system. I put basic audio upgrades in her car.

Don't make this. You did destroy car balance. Elantra N is already a heavy car. Why? So, many reviewers and costumers complained about Veloster N size, rear seats space. So, Elantra N is already a heavy car.
