My daily. Manual performance blue. I’ve owned so many hot hatches from JCW, AMG GLA 45, GTI, Mazdaspeed3, and GTI. Veloster N is such a fantastic, quirky, adjustable killer hot hatch for a great price. Couldn’t be happier.

Hey what's happening I've purchase a 2020 Hyundai veloster turbo r spec I've changed out the Mufflers and exhaust tips it's loud enough for me with all the pops gurgling and burbling especially in cold start & I've tested drive the veloster N with a six speed manual transmission it's much faster than a automatic I rather roll through my own gears instead & thanks for sharing your videos with me and 👋👍🙂♥️

Was thinkin of tradin my veloster n for the elantra n.. still not sure lol
@slimv3.1622 жыл бұрын
No way don't do it. The veloster n has so much more personality than the elantra n. Way more stylish too. Not to mention there's not many out there so you stand out alot more.

@Slimv3 .1 i hate the fact that the elantra has a better interior than ours and makes more power. I am butthurt too that a honda accord beat me lol that thing is fast.
@slimv3.1622 жыл бұрын
@@flat4wankel yeah it's oh so slightly quicker and does have better interior but imo it still lacks that wow factor so to speak and it still looks too close to a regular elantra to me and you see thise things everywhere. Even if I had the option to just swap my VN for the EN I don't think I could. I get stopped damn near everyday from people in aww of my VN. I don't see that happening with the EN at all.

at 3:30 you began to discuss the GTI and u said "after driving that and then driving this, I much prefer.... The buttons in this". But no talk comparing customization, handling, power, steering feel, or fun factor etc?? Seriously? SMH
@EverydayReviews20222 жыл бұрын
I did mention that this felt way more powerful than rated and is the most fun compared to the other hot hatches. In an ideal world you would blend this drivetrain and running gear with the body of the GTI.
@Daveyboy_RS32 жыл бұрын
@@EverydayReviews2022 yeah but you didn't say that. You brought up the GTI and Golf R and literally said the words "I much prefer... (Then I was waiting for you to express what things you prefer in the vw's and what you prefer in the N, if you finished your sentence with preferring the buttons. Everybody knows that the capacitive buttons on the vw's suck. And of course the Veloster n feels more powerful, it's got almost 40 more HP. We all wanted to know which did you enjoy more on a curvy road, which steering wheel loads up better in the corners, which has better power delivery, torque delivery, balance, which communicates more to the driver. If you're going to bring up its main competitor, you've got to mention more then preferring the buttons in the Veloster N over the GTI. The GTI is it's one true competitor in the segment, and everyone is always wondering which is the better daily car. Sure the GTI is going to have a better interior, more upscale with better materials, and is tried and true for over 30 years. People want to know your overall opinions on the different aspects of both vehicles. If you're going to actually bring up the GTI which you did. But the only comparison you made was the buttons. Terrible review sorry buddy. he did not mention NPS or NTS which stand for n-power shift which can be adjusted whether you want it to have a more pulling jerky feel when shifting or turn it to its least aggressive setting where the shifts are seamless and you almost feel no difference when switching gears. Then you have NTS which is N track sense, which when the pedal is 90% pressed down or more tells the car that you are track driving and will stiffen up certain areas of the car as well as raise the aggression on the elsd, depending on what setting you have the NTS in. If you have it on full aggressive then it will heavily intervene when you have the pedal pushed down above 90%, or if you have it on its least aggressive setting then it will do very little in terms of changing the car's Dynamics regardless of whether you're flooring the car or not. You did not mention that for launch control, you have a menu where you can set the maximum RPMs that you want the car to launch at when you have your foot on the brake and your right foot on the gas pedal. You can set it to 2800 RPMs or 3900 RPMs. And it will always launch at that exact RPM. What about the people that don't know exactly what an E-LSD is. Sure, on the custom screen spider web display, it did say E-LSD, and that's one of the best features of hyundais N products, are the fact that they come with not just an open differential, but a "corner carving"torque vectoring electronic limited slip differential. You didn't even tell them what that does. And how when you're taking a corner and getting the car to its limits, this piece of technology can move power from the inner and outer front wheels. Which can also be adjusted from normal to sport to sport Plus, giving you the option to have the differential kicking more aggressively or to not intervene at all. I mean there is so much more that I'm not going to mention because I'm not going to sit here all day, but you left out about half of what makes the Elantra N different from the Elantra, and why a person would spend an extra $10,000 on this car over a standard Elantra. For god sakes you didn't even mention that there is a power increase of 10 HP and 18 lb feet of torque when pushing the NGS button. You gave no figures. You didn't even say there is a power increase. You simply said it raises all the parameters and downshifts one or two gears for 20 seconds. You called it an overboost function which it is. And you compared it to what Porsche has. And how if you want to pass someone you can just push that button "and you're there" you didn't say that there is an increase of horsepower or torque at any point. If you were reviewing a Hyundai Santa Fe, you wouldn't need to do much homework. But you didn't do your homework, even though you've taken the car to the track before, and I've only driven it for about 5 minutes, how is it possible that I know more about the car than someone that's reviewing it and telling us about it? If you want to be taken seriously as an automotive journalist or get anywhere as a car reviewer on KZbin, you need to know what makes the car special, and showcase it, as well as compare it to its main competitor. And saying the words that wow this thing feels a lot faster than 275 horsepower has nothing to do with comparing it to a Golf GTI or Golf R. Thankfully I speak my comments so this only took me about 3 minutes. If ever you do review the Elantra N, you definitely don't want to forget the NTS and NPS adjustable features that are strictly for a DCT, as well as the adjustable RPM for launch control. Since you're Canadian you can go to the hyundai.ca website and they go into great detail about all that. Good luck

@@Daveyboy_RS3 I really think you should do the review. Great job for sharing. I’m speaking to the Everyday day person on the most part but I understand what you’re saying. I what I meant is that it feels way more powerful than the stated HP, not the GTI. Sometimes I only have very little time with the vehicle to film and ridges it. In this case it was about 2 hours. Sorry couldn’t meet your expectations but seeing your name I’m sure you’re for sure more qualified to do a comparison. I do appreciate the comment and if it only took you 3 min , you really should do the review and I’d be more than happy to post it on the channel. Cheers!

I mean I like speed personally which is why I'd take the veloster n over the 130n the 130n in terms of 0 to 60 the veloster n with the manual is still quicker than the i30n with the dct but if you don't really care about performance then yeah get a i30n it's more practical
