2022 Iowa Teal Opening Weekend!! And My Dogs FIRST DUCK RETRIEVE

2022 Iowa Teal Opening Weekend. This is my waterfowl season living in Iowa and we were able to find a few public land marshes that seemed to be holding teal and weren't being hunted by everyone from the city. Appreciate you posting this. Just went out this past weekend for the first time duck hunting in Iowa since I moved here (originally from Southern IL) and ended up getting one Monday morning although I probably should've gotten 3-4 more over the weekend (those guys are hard to hit and I don't have the best shot at moving targets:) ). Also just got a Brittany pup a little over a month ago and hoping we'll be able to experience the same first retrieve next year when I've got him trained. Thanks again for sharing your hunt and giving a look into some other teal hunts happening in Iowa.

That’s why I do it! Mostly to preserve memories but to also show the “average” hunters point of view. We see all these guys just put an absolute smack down on em, when in reality most of us aren’t limiting out every single day!

It wasn’t cold for this hunt, which is great for a younger dog! Temperatures were in the mid 70’s Fahrenheit.
