How do you compare this new NX to the updated ES? In terms of drive, especially on longer distances?

ES is better on long run, but NX is more advance in terms of multimedia (totally new), also it has the newest Lexus platform and it's SUV :) NX - more for town (but it doesn't mean you can't use it for longer distances). ES - is much better for longer distances but can be a little bit to big if only used in crowded town.

Small update from my side. I've been driving my ES for the last two weeks. I've driven only 900km, but I can tell that ride is very smooth. Sound insulation is really good, for the first 700km I've been hearing lots of tyres noise, but this has been eliminated. I've read reviews of this particular model and many reported that for the first 700-1000 km they are loud, but after that it they are much more silent. I haven't got a chance to drive new NX 350h yet. One thing that is outstanding for me, is the quality of 360 cameras. Because Lexus is using 4:3 aspect ratio cameras instead of maintaining this ratio on the infotainment screen, they probably scaled it to 16:9 ratio and it just looks bad. Shame on Lexus for that! Because besides that it's a truly great car to drive. Of course it's not a performance one, but it can guarantee a relaxing drive with sufficient dynamics. Next month I will be going for a 900km trip, so I can adjust my opinion after a longer period of time spent inside the car in one sitting.

Nice car but... in the 2018 NX you could easily put a suitcase - medium size - in the under trunck. It's impossible in the new model. Why ?! Also, in the former NX you could set rear seats and front passenger seat totally horizontally. On the new NX, it became impossible. Why ? If only you could go a little further on with the front seat, it would be no problem. Unbelievable for such an expensive car. Big mistake from Lexus.

NX250 is like the ES250 not even worth selling in a luxury car segment. NX350h should be the base offer like....c'mon
