Unfortunately even the original release of that DK way back when was super loose. Pretty sure every print of that figure suffers from that problem. Shame they didn’t fix that and maybe do a new head sculpt for him or I would’ve considered picking up a new one. I hope they do new bigger size characters like Bowser and DK. Come on Jacks!

I'll say I think I like the Jakks smiling mario skintone the best and looks closest to the import to me. The original is still pretty good but I like iteration of the 2.0. Not a radical reinvention but a little zhuzh up of what worked and make it slightly better. Really hard to argue with the price point and good pick ups particularly making a mixed display. Smash bros vs marvel vs Capcom for me lol

BTW, any chance of you doing a Top 10 list on "Mario characters you'd want in the 4-inch scale line"? Cause, honestly, I'm curious, especially given there's so many characters from the RPGs that Nintendo wants to pretend don't exist but that deserve toys....
