2022 MT10 Exhaust Installation - Musarri Link Pipe/Mid Pipe

2022 MT10 exhaust installation. I replaced the catalytic converter with a Musarri link pipe/Mid Pipe with the stock can muffler.
Like mentioned I bought this from a mate who got it from this ebay store.
The brand is Musarri. It is now back in stock for $200 AUD. Best value and he can shop oversea too.

Exciting. I wish I can spend the $$$$ on the leo Vince and SC Project exhaust but I got my link pipe and can for $300 total so can't complain. It's loud and makes the bike run rich. I will film the pops and flames one of these days when down shifting it's amazing.

I'm in Perth, WA. No issues running no cat and can with Mr Plod. It's loud, but not as loud as SC Project. It also has healthy amount of pops and flames on down shift.

You'll still hear the engine, but once you're going 110kmph or above 😉 you'll just hear the exhaust and wind noise. I got a HJC RPHA11 RPHA10 helmets and they're noisy helmets.

They just went blue from normal ridding. I haven't touched the headers. I do ride it hard maybe heat turned it blue.

Thanks. No I didn't loose and low to mids. It still got planty of power. After about 3000km the quickshifter go smoother.

@@scottwang16 ecu flash isn't required but if you want extra power and remove the throttle restriction you should ecu flash it.

It's still running rich. I don't have a plan to flash the ecu as it will cost another $1000. In fact my fuel consumption dropped from 9.4L/100km to about 8.4L/100km in Mode A and I don't baby it. If I am babying it or taking it easy in Mode C I get 5.4L/100km. There are some pop when I'm decelerating and when I'm ridding it hard flames will come out of it.

No I didn't get a tune. It didn't suffer from low to mid flat spot like in Gen 1 does after the link pipe upgrade.

@Litehamer yes! In black just like I wanted. So far, I've only swapped out the silencer for a Radiant GP shorty exhaust and left the breadbox as is. Sounds pretty good for only 60 bucks spent, and no tune needed.

@@RaidenXXII I would highly recommend that you still get a tune or at least an ECU flash. You may not feel any difference or flat spots but 9 times out of 10 a decat/link pipe will dramatically change the air/fuel ratio.

It is the same link pipe as the 2019 MT10 which is Gen 1. It does fit but you will need to force up the muffler by about 10mm up.

No, I left the servo motor connected. You can get sero motor delete or flash the ecu with woodlich tune and turn it off.

Somebody probably already mentioned it but make sure you have that ecu flashed accordingly. They run extremely lean when you get them breathing properly with an exhaust.

@@ryanmurray9017 When a brand-new exhaust or link pipe is installed, they always shoot out flames. I think there is some kind of chemical coating inside that needs to be burned off.

Several months in and I'm still getting a lot of pops and flames. I get complaints from my biker mates when they ride behind me it smell of fuel so definitely not running lean.

You can tune it to get more power and stop the pops and flames and remove the 80% restriction but I still haven't tuned it.
