Hi yoyo great channel honest content ,have you got any further testing on the PCM flash ,I am just Reworking a smart flash dongle and pcm flash tool ,no filtering on any digital input or output, no ESD or tvl nothing, cheep capacitors ,schottky diodes And very little filtering capacitors . I like the tool but it could be better Better quality components and soldering aswell as cleanliness small solder debris floating around the flash drive. All the best Jim 👍

OK, yes I am not finnished with sorting the electronic faults I would say treat this unit with Some caution, it needs work The d sub connectors are cheep And intermittent ,I can't see them being able to deliver 3 amps And the psu is only 2 amps Many factors to consider. I have repaired the flash drive now It is recognised, I look forward to your next video regards Jim

So are the boards similar to scanmatik?I use original scanmatik, but licenses for each EDC protocol are a little costly. I am a huge fan of the product and I use it with pcmtuner software. you are the man, great video

The motherboard is not identical. As far as can be seen, the Chinese manufacturers have added something to the motherboard and that something makes it not perfectly functional. After several uses I found that it is a problem with this programmer. I do not recommend buying this clone!

Hello. It's not bad at all, but it also has a few drawbacks (for maximum performance you have to buy the original Scanmatik + PCM). You should know that it will not work on the old ecu like edc16 and edc15. This programmer is used like all other programmers, if you learn with it you will know with the others and vice versa.

Hello, no, because those cars have edc16 series ECU. This programmer cannot be used on edc16 or edc15.

It means that, that ECU can only be written, it cannot be read with the programmer. For example, with Flex you have the option to read virtually, that is, instead of reading from the ECU, it will download that dump from the server. Then you will make the modification you want and you can write that modified dump.

Hello. Those clones you also have are outdated. PCM Tuner is also a clone but works on newer models but can't work on edc15 or edc16. I don't know exactly if it works on the ECU you mentioned, because I don't have any activity on Trucks. I'm sorry but I can't give you information if I'm not sure.

@@manoloh pcm tunner is clearly a clone from Scanmatik. It is identical to the one from SM2Pro Clone, only that it is 2 times more expensive. Regarding foxFlash I'm thinking about it too, because edc16 can be read in Bench mod without unpacking it. This is the evolution of Galletto. It is interesting that you can update Software and Firmware online. So it is the first clone that really supports online updates, not the program but the Firmware. At first it was put up for sale with the price of 1200 euros. As I have written before and to others, I also say to you, wait and buy it cheap. now its price is 700 euros, 500 less within 3 months. so in a few months I will probably buy it if it reaches 350-400 euros.

@@YOYODiagnostic latest software of pcmflash is 1.2.5 so that 1.2.6 is marketing by them so it seams its newest version it is good clone it seams good for edc17 in vag and bmw psa not so good had oroblem with 1.4hdi with edc17c60 personaly i use microtronik hexprog i did play for it 1755usd but you dont need licenc for 30days i that time i did 8 cars so it payd ist self and it has good vr file for pcr2.1 and dcm6.2v and did bench edc17cp45 that tool is ceapest you can good and am not mad at pcmtuner but it is what is clone of origibal pcm+scanmatic2 not pro so ther are some bug dont know them all bu ther is mhh thread about its software bing full of malware that scans you pc so its best be used on old burmer pc for cracked software
