The Range Rover Sport has been one of the most popular luxury SUVs in the Irish market for over a decade, so there's no doubt that the third generation version has a lot to live up to. After spending just a few minutes in the cabin of the car you begin to understand that it's a whole different way of travelling along the roads. The seats, the ride, the tech and the styling are all so excellent that you can't help but smile from departure to destination. It truly is magnificent to drive!
The version we tested was the Dynamic SE. As tested it cost roughly €124,000 and with a few optional extras (wheels, heated steering wheel, digital mirror and a couple more) it really is all the Range Rover Sport you could even need.
To drive, there's plenty of tech including adaptive cruise control, lane assist and more, however it's the air suspension that grabs all of your attention as it's just so smooth!
Often the Range Rover Sport is associated as a status symbol, however when you spend some time behind the wheel of it, you understand that it's so much more than a Rolex on wheels!
Whilst it's available in diesel and petrol, it's the PHEV (P440e) that we would recommend. With over 100km range and a 3.0 litre petrol engine, it's the perfect combination of being eco friendly on short commutes, and having the ability to tackle long journeys in its stride.
We hope you enjoy our review, and thank you for watching.
