Happy New Year, Scott! Nice collection and commentary explaining each. “Bad” weather = “good” weather for photos. Runner at benches, my fav, especially because you anticipated the shot. As I recall, you also have a good eye for close-ups, so a macro should be on your acquisition list, too. Hope you are making progress with your scanning of historical negatives project.

I bought a 50-230 Fuji lens last year. Great reach and had similar image quality of the kit lens. It broke after one small drop. So instead of buying the 50-140mm I’ve decided to invest in a different camera system. My 2023 plans are sell my x-t4, buy an x-t30, and use the difference to buy more lenses for the other camera (which I will not mention here 😉😂).
