The Venza has a better driving experience than the Lexus NX. The NX has lots of road noise. I drove both the same day.

Road noise are mostly caused by crappy tires. The OEM tires used here is DUNLOP GRANDTREK PT20. PT20 probably stands for "Pieces of Turds, 20 Stacks." Recommend a quick switch to Continential TrueContact Tour as soon as the OEM ones wears out around 30,000 miles. The TrueContact Tours will last at least 60,000 miles.

Thanks for the kind comment! As for Venza versus CR-V Sport L Hybrid, a Venza LE trim is both cheaper and more efficient. Plus, Toyota has killed the Venza after the 2024 model year. That should put you in a good position to get a great deal. I'd go Venza.

Two things that I noted during your test drive. While the rear door opening seems adequate, the foot well area between the lower portion of the seat and the door pillar seems rather tight. Perhaps it was just the angle I was viewing it from. Second, the rear opening seems rather high off the ground compared with much of the competition. Did you find that to be true?

@@naveenthemachine vehicle class has more to do than just size. Sure, it could be a little bigger, but the premium feel, more features, and styling separates it from the RAV4 and Highlander. It’s a tweener for people who want a nicer rav4, not a highlander, but something that is different and not as aggressive looking. It looks like some Jaguars and Audis from the rear which is pretty neat I think. Plus, it’s not that much more expensive than a RAV4 hybrid. Sure, a few grand, but there are features on the Venza not available on the RAV4. It feels different to drive even though they are similar underneath.
