As an MT10 owner of 4 years, the mpg issue not about cost, it's the effect on the range. I'd be happy if it just had a 20 litre tank, especially as I use it for tours as well, which it does very well with a screen, aside from range anxiety in the middle of nowhere!

One of my favourite naked bikes with similar character as the original daddy of supernakeds, the Aprilia Tuono 1000. Both the original MT10 and Tuono had bonkers power delivery in their day, both are not the most refined but captured the essence of sticking two fingers up at convention and just allowing the rider to rediscover what 2 wheeled fun is all about. There has to be a rawness, an element of danger and excitement so I hope they haven't refined the new one too much. The other thing that the Tuono and MT10 have in common is that they have a brilliant chassis. I'd love one in the garage alongside my beloved rsvr Mille. I tried the S1000R but it was too anaemic, too good and too refined...it was great but ultimately forgettable. Great review. Great conclusions. This is the ideal supernaked for you Al!😁

One of the reasons i bought a 2018 MT10SP was because of your video you did all those years back and i still love it to this day, the broad range of capability of this bike is what makes it so amazing, its just a heaps of FUN. I always say i'm not a wheelie guy, never really learned to do big clutch up wheelies but with this bike you can smoothly loft the front wheel at will when ever you feel like, makes you laugh and giggle in your helmet, thats what its all about.
