Pure quality. These are the songs that will play on the radio for many years to come. I don't mean just ballads. I mean songs that are outstanding for their craftsmanship. Overall. Written and performed. Thank you, Jason and Bobby.

been listening to Chicago and Jason Scheff since 13, only to find out when in my late 30s that he is the lead vocal, his voice captivates my feelings and senses and such sweet voice and musicianship he has.

I needed this today. Jason is the coolest guy. We ate at a sushi restaurant one evening in Vegas after a show, and Jason comes out at my gf bequest just to take a photo with me. Best memory ever 🎉

I remember getting Chicago 19 in the summer of 1988. I would play this song more than the other songs and they weren't even going to release this as a single? What a bunch of ding-a-lings. This is definitely a hit song. Chicago made a ton of songs that they never released as singles that would've been hits. I Believe from Chicago 18, What Can I Say from Chicago 16 were never released but would've been hits for sure. And there's many more songs that they did that would've been hits, Happy Man from Chicago 7 is another one.

Yep, Chicago could've had more hit singles if it wasn't for the "wisdom" of record executives. I think TOTO got the same treatment.

I already liked this song when I first heard it on Chicago 19. But when they remixed it for Greatest Hits 1982-89, the echo gave me goosebumps. I still remember to this day hearing it on the radio in the car and thinking "I've GOT to get a copy of this remix!"

Girl, well it's been one of those days again And it seems like the harder I try Over and over, I'm right back where I began But you understand Oh girl, when nothing else in this world goes right Oh I just want to run to you You pull me through Oh baby, who wouldn't want to have you in their life? Tell me: what kind of man would I be Living a life without any meaning? And I know you could surely survive without me But if I had to live without you Tell me what kind of man would I be? Times when it was pointless for me to try I was more than a desperate man What seemed like forever was gone with one touch of your hand Oh, girl, if I could count all the sleepless nights When you were there for me A fool could see, oh baby Once that I found you there was no letting go. Tell me: what kind of man would I be. Living a life without any meaning? And I know you could surely survive without me But if I had to live without you Tell me what kind of man would I be? Tell me: what kind of man would I be Living a life without any meaning? And I know you could surely survive without me But if I had to live without you Tell me what kind of man would I be? What kind of man would I be Living a life without any meaning? And I know you could surely survive without me But if I had to live without you Tell me what kind of man Tell me what kind of man Tell me what kind of man would I be? Tell me what kind of man would I be?

Peter is the reason Jason got a solid career period. How quick are the ignorant to forget bridges that get some over. 😮 Peter wrote/sang TWO number one songs in Chicago. Jason in 30 years never did that in Chicago or anywhere.

That song was kinda thrown on there even tho it wasn’t a single before but ended up going to #5 so that’s a win. That record company screwed them over so much with not doing any more singles and then not releasing stone of Sisyphus cuz they wanted more ballads like why didn’t you let them release that one in 88 then?!?

I am really disappointed in the comments downing this one or that one and only this version is best. It is all great and I am a PC and Chicago fan and that included Jason. Can you play bass guitar? Jason did a fantastic job stepping in to fill PC's shoes when he left. I thought his voice tackled the PC vocals and that is what the band needed, especially for the concerts. He isn't an asshole and comments like that shouldn't be allowed on here
