I just bought a 23 custom duramax on feb 4th. Love it. It’s a work truck and that’s what I bought it for. The lt or ltz would have been nice but I couldn’t find any near me. Had to drive 3 hours just to put my hands on a custom. I plan on having it for a very long time and happy with it. Great video.

I’ve had a 2500 Duramax for 22 years as a landscape contractor so it’s been used heavily daily towing heavy loads. I’m looking to get a new truck I’m in between a 1500 Duramax and another 2500 Duramax. Question for you how’s the mpg ? Thanks and congrats on the truck

I can’t speak to the 2500 MPG but hanging around the 1500 3.0 forums it sounds that people get as good or better MPG than EPA rated when driving unloaded. Best of luck in what you decide and find out from current owners!

@@Slowhand871 all depends. Only had her for about 2 weeks so far. On the highway in PA I’m getting around 19+ or so and in town between 13.5 and 14.5. Driving normal not slow or being careful.

Got my LT a few weeks ago. Every dealer in my area wants 10k above sticker. Got mine 2k below. Found out about the refresh and decided to get one now rather than 2 years from now. I just don’t want to buy the first year of a new gen/refresh. Seems all the new issues arise and get ironed out the following year or two.

Congrats on your LT! I can’t believe dealers would ask mark up on a heavy duty truck, lol. I agree about the refresh! A face lift is usually pretty straight forward, compared to a brand new re worked platform or whole new model of a vehicle. I hope it serves you well. Thanks for watching! 🙂
