@@lilblingking1491 I'm happy that Honda at least gives a little effort to please their customers. Other brands will argue with customers how automatics are more efficient and just as if not better than a manual transmission. Honda keeps a manual transmission still an option in some of their cars; other brands will short-change us with some bullshit excuse. I got a 2021 Civic Sport hatchback and it's one of my favorite cars I've driven. It begs the question of why Honda and Toyota are trying to get manuals back into their lineup. And not blame it on design budget restrictions. Also these shit times with gas hitting record highs, my Civic is most efficient for me at 39-42 MPG efficiency. The best performance I have owned and it's fun to drive!

@@DoWorkNP It seems like they are making a comeback in some brands. People were pissed off that Toyota didn't make the new Supra manual up until 2023 when they are making it an option finally. They probably saw how people were chopping up Supras to make them manual and they just said: OKAY okay!!

Just bought the Integra with the 6 speed manual. I can't say enough about how happy I am with this machine! The cornering is tight when I tackle them at a high speed like it's on rails! The gearbox is the best in the business and it shows. Very forgiving and buttery smooth throws. ELS sound system is one of the best I've had in a car. Sportback hatch makes the Integra functional, especially when I need to transport my road bike to a ride or a crit. Could be faster than 200hp but for my needs and the gas prices these days, the engine sips fuel and has more than adequate torque and fun factor that goes along with it. People often draw comparisons to the GTI but VW reliability has a checkered history. I had a 2012 Acura TL 6 speed for 5 years and had no major repairs or issues. Same with the Infiniti. Audi... I had major engine issues. I would choose Japanese any day over VW/Audi (or German for that matter) for reliability alone.

My favorite car of all time was my 1989 Acura Integra LS. That car was such a pleasure to drive and everything screamed quality. It's hard to believe the engine only generated 113hp compared to this version that now starts with 200hp. Even my 1994 Integra only had 140hp. But it sounds like the new Integra presses a lot of the same buttons as my 89, with a satisfying gearbox, great ride quality, solid handling, sweet engine noises, and a nice design.

My biggest problem with the Integra is what Honda did with the Civic Si. Took away the amenities that the 10th gen Si already had, including adaptive dampers and then raised the cost of the 11th gen Si $2K. Then, added them all back into the top trim Integra A-Spec with Tech Pkg for $8K more. $8K more and you don't even get rear vents. It's a nice car, but definitely not worth $8K more than an Si with the same powertrain.

I'm very curious about the quality of the ELS in the Integra. I own a 2019 TLX A-Spec, so it's the prior generation and I have only become more disenchanted with the stereo. Bass is quite lacking. You can get a little bit of bass response on certain tracks when you're listening with the engine off or at idle but as soon as you get going, the bass is lost. Boosting the bass and sub levels doesn't improve the sound much and will cause rattles or distortion in the rear deck lid. High and midrange frequencies tend to be a mess too. Some tracks sound "okay" others sound shouty. The overall sound lacks richness. I know a stereo isn't the only reason to buy a car but when we're talking about luxury daily driver cars like the TLX and new Integra, the stereo should sound good. Especially when it's touted as being a premium audio system. I'm curious how the ELS system sounds in the Acura MDX Type S, since their are more speakers in the MDX Type S than there are in other MDX trim levels. I wonder if the new flagship Acura in the highest trim level has a much better sound system that other Acura's or at least much better than the system in my TLX.

As a 2015 ILX owner, I’m just not sold on this car. From a design standpoint it’s kind of a let down, and the power seems pretty weak for a “premium” car. Acura is to Honda. As Cadillac is to chevy. Its a luxury brand, im glad that some auto companies see that we love manual cars.

Seems like a lot of fun to drive. 200 HP are more than enough to have fun. Its better to be able to use 100% of the performance than using only 40% of it like with a much stronger car.

One thing that stood out to me was the 60/40 back seating instead of the usual 40/60 seating used by the whole industry. Maybe so replacement of seats is to be acura only parts?

I wished the interior of the Integra wasn't 95% civic. Like the last ilx was more special then this. For example it had an acura interior and a dct instead of a cvt. However I'm holding out for the type s and hoping sh awd will make an appearance but I doubt it

I don't see much Civic in this cabin, maybe I'm missing something? Didn't even think Honda until I read your comment. I really like this new Integra.

@@hakeemsd70m yeah it's 95% civic interior. Same steering wheel, center console, driver display, center display, climate control and buttons, etc. Only things that are acura specific are the seats and els sound system

So disappointed when I learned it was a 4 door. I was actually excited for this car lol And before you say coupes don’t sell well neither are sedans in this country! Should’ve been a 2 door coupe with a more tuned 1.5 instead of just the same one from the si

Will driving this new Integra restore my T-levels to those of my youth when the original was introduced? If so, it’s a must buy, LOL. Seems like a great product and I’m happy Acura/Honda went forward with it… will put it on my short list for next car purchase.

I know the old integra was also civic based but this one just does so little for any differentiation whatsoever it feels like a let down. Even if they wanted to keep the civic interior design overall they still could have used the Acura steering wheel or gauges and it would have felt more acura-esque in the cabin.

i know this reply is late but lol many civics and integras shared interiors (especially steering wheels for example the DC5 RSX/Integra and EP3 Civic Si/Type R ones are identical) so that's just how it's kinda always been
